This is my buddy’s old car. Man this thing really picked up some power with mods! We did a few races when it was essentially bone stock besides cutouts and that thing stayed right beside my fbo isf to 150. Awesome car!

Wow. Someone that knows how to put the marker light on the fairing. I can't tell you how many 1500s I have worked on where the lights were installed on the outside. Changes the whole look of the side. Great advice. 👍 and I like the video.
right next to the power wire for the light youll find a very small relay in that rubber box looking thing. Remove the relay and attach 2 of the wires to each other and you now have running lights that are always on. This is legal, because it was standard on slightly newer models. Helps make you stand out to on coming cars, and lets face it, early GL1500 can use all the head light help they can get, plus, no kit required
Thank you! I have considered making my cornering lights full time on, the LEDs draw very little.and make only slight heat. If you can order online you can get much better prices. I replaced all of the small bulbs on my bags and the two beside the headlight with LEDs as well. INCANDESCENTS draw a lot of power and load the alternator. My simple man math is less load, less wear lol. Thanks again, hope it helps! NOTE: There are 1156 socket halogens if you want full on bright driving lights, but i would probably utilize a switch so i would have control over them. If you do choose LEDs research the tone and lumens you want. Good news is once you get the conversion done, you can replace the bulbs with something you like in just a few minutes. :)
Good job brother. I'm considering rewiring the lights as driving lights. I've seen it on a forum and feel it would suit my needs better. I like all your videos and have learned alot. I have the 93 interstate. Peace.
