The British Rally Championship is Britain's premier rallying series.
First run in 1958, it has been the making of many a rally legend with five BRC Champions going on to become World Rally Champions. It has been the series that has launched careers, seen manufacturer campaigns delivered and entertained millions of rally fans at home and abroad.
Open to all rally cars that conform to FIA homologation regulations, the very latest rally machines tackle the special stages that make up each round. There is also a National Rally Title for cars that have an Motorsport UK technical Passport, competing alongside BRC crews on the same events. An integral pathway for young drivers, the Junior BRC provides a stepping-stone for under 27 year-old’s to hone their skills on both gravel and asphalt, as well as the all important pre-event recce process. Yeah, that was just pure insanity! Beautiful roads, at night, and you do not kid around over there with your chicanes (and DOUBLE chicanes!)!! Unlike U.S. with our lame 'virtual chicanes' on gravel ONLY events. Fourmaux has enough talent to be higher than just 'inside' the top 5 in WRC Rally 1 (especially on the tarmac events) he just needs a little bit more experience, and some luck.
Absolutely incredible commitment. I'm not sure which is more impressive; the commitment through the fast sweepers or how much speed he carries through the chicanes. Gives me TT vibes, but at night!
I know you dont get to practice the fast stuff between rallies, but dont these guys know you can practice the low-speed stuff almost anywhere? I can't believe how so many would thtow away do much time on the hairpins and doughnuts.
You know I bet when Dave makes love, I can see him dropping his trousers and saysing tah dah, the girl replies, where it as Dave?, He then replies of crap yea wait a minute ,there u go, Then she replies u have an extension for that also Dave?. Of course sugar buns dive Dave’s in the house tonight, Put some lithium grease on yourself babe so I can slip in and out like an oily cat down a drainpipe.
Brilliant weekend, best rally I’ve been to. Black’s Fiesta looked absolutely brutal and Williams was consistently the most spectacular driver out of the 4WDs all weekend. Madness that in perfectly eligible cars Pryce, Evans and Black aren’t automatically in BRC1 event standings!
