The programming herein will range from technical information about old Synthesizers to logical debates about various topics in the political or religious realm. And always some comedy mixed in. :-) Enjoy.
People have no time for rational solutions that are totally simple. They prefer to go on with everything in a way that's ridiculous and annoying because they can't all agree on how to do anything swiftly.
Is there supposed to be a shield cover over the divider/ocillator box? I just picked up a Model A, type ET201. It is different from the model A-1. Not too bad of shape, some wires were chewed on the keyboard but the rodent was kind and left just a nub of plastic so I knew which went where.Seems like they used better caps than transistor radios of the same time.My black keys are cracking on the ends. Im going to glue the cracks shut and try filling with epoxy. I'm betting they all do it.
Hi Bob, do you ever get the feeling that the world is full of corruption and just not a good home for us Christians? lol I think I might have known you, your name and face seem very familiar - although it's been decades upon decades, I want to say you might have been the one who helped me at the final performance of the Charlie peacock band (with Brent bourgeois at the Shire Road Pub) when I was allowed to hook up my Yamaha wedge cassette deck and make a recording, unfortunately it was only mono because there were no more stereo outputs available, I believe Ray B. had his cassette deck hooked up to the last available Stereo outputs and promised me a copy in stereo - that I never saw. 😢 You know, I've kind of I don't know 'outgrown' perhaps is the right term to use - my frustration with the crap in this world that just seems upside down, backwards and inside out - and everywhere, now I just see it as that much more substantiation for the teachings of the Bible, particularly when referencing the final days. - Yeah it still bugs me but I don't take it to heart like I used to. I had to put down my four-legged best friend yesterday after 14 years, and having raised him from a 10 week old puppy, so I'm not even sure I'm making good sense today - I'm very emotional. Take care, Brother
Wow! This is five years old. Nothing has changed. I too had an unfortunate exchange with this fellow on MEWE after gently admonishing him, then firmly doing so the next day in private, and in public. When I did so in public it was because he attacked me on one posts which didn't even mention him by name might I add. He is blocked and will remain so. If a patient brother has a heart to deal with him then my prayers go out to you. I don't recommend women interact with this guy, and I will leave it at that. I don't think he being paid at the moment. He lives in a church and preaches to one person. I pray for him, as I think the general consensus is that he has some serious mental issues, and needs to humble himself before the Lord, and seek accountability from strong brothers in the faith.
Thanks for the warning. I'm just about to reassemble my GK 700 RB ii. It had a loose transformer as well, when I opened it up. But now I will put some sort of protection next to the screw.
Dick Dale referred to this instrument when he was talking about Fender and Leo, so now I'm here. Really great playing and sound. Sorry to hear about the passing of Paul. RIP. I really enjoyed this video!!!
I've got the option of an Ekosonic, which is a rebadged Doric, but have no idea whether it works. I like the sound of these vintage organs - I'm from a portable harmonium/reed organ background.
i made an outcome sim. on my hp15c using the presumption of 95% 'hit' rate per county though it appears even higher from pre 2016 'anomaly'. results using 33 counties had these #'s getting it wrong in successive runs of the pogram; 2, 3, 0, 0, 2, 1, 0 etc. As expected 3 was as high as it went in a dozen runs. the pgm takes 30 seconds to run!
Back around 1979-80, a small local music shop in SE Texas had one of these for sale. In 2003 I found one cheap on eBay and refurbished it. It’s nice seeing one once again. Enjoyed the video.
i don't know who Varney is and it was a nice day so........why not?? c/o out my latest shadow banned vid on how math proves 2020 election was jacked and be the 1st to ask important questions on that if you have time
Wow i havent seen one of these in forever. I gigged with a three piece rock band back in the late 60's / early 70's (guitar, drums and this exact keyboard) for around 4 years. The upper manual i used for all rythms and some leads as well. i used the lower manual almost exclusively to dub in the bass lines (the lower had a tremendously rich quality for bass and provided a super bottom end ) some actually preferred it to a guitar bass. most small time rock bands with keys were using farfisa or vox board but i actually preferred the m101. When i could no longer find parts for it , had to switch to another keyboard, bought a hammond m100 w/leslie tone cab. 2 things i really missed from my old m101 was the easy transport ( m101 = around 40 pounds vs m100 + leslie = 300 pounds) and the lower manual for bass. the rest is history...
Hey, so I have a 2001rb that o recently ordered and it was stated fully functional and thinking of sending it back but then what if it’s something simple? It does not power on at all
