I installed little rubber grommets in the holes for the bottle. I found that the air leaks even if you drill them tight. The grommets really make a good air seal. Works great.

OMG Lacquer AND Enamel, that thing is gonna last forever. I like the renovation, good marketing by brushing mud on it in order to call it a restoration, but we can clearly see the brush strokes on the mud.

It looks okay. My father tought me to use no tools to put back the tire on the rim. Put the tire half on the rim, like you did, put the inner tire in, fill it with some air because it gets a little shape then. Then put the tire on with your hands only: push the tire to the deeper rim inside so that you have more space. Then fill it with air and watch the the inner tire is setting okay. Use your hands only, no tools This way you have lesser chance of getting your tire leaky by using a tool.
