It really depends on the hospital - I was full time and worked 3 12hr shifts. We also did self scheduling which was great! But again, depends on the hospital and unit.
I loved my clinical shadow in the OR !! It was super cool and interesting to see how calm people were lol. We’re doing OB in the fall I’m nervous !! Lol
i recently got this camera for face cam for my gaming channel but the video keeps skipping (yes its in video mode) & not accepting my mic.😢 anyway u can help? i’m honestly finna send it back😅
That’s awesome you had a great night shift!! Just remember all night shifts aren’t easy.. and all day shifts aren’t hard!! But congratulations to you, I wish you all the best in your nursing journey
Thank you for the feedback! At around 15-16 minutes in the video is where I start showing myself at work and what that looks like but there is only so much I can actually record on the unit. Nonetheless I will be more mindful about the titles. 😀
Hi Latisha. What was it like your very first day being an LPN? Your bow tie head bang is so cute. I wanted to know if you can tell me how to edit videos? I see you are editing videos, but can you give me pointers on how please?
Hi! I’m just coming back to RU-vid so I’m late responding but I no longer work in nursing. I can def create videos on editing though - anything specific you would like to learn?
@@TheLatishaBrown it's okay no worries oh noo if you don't mind me asking how come you're not in nursing anymore? Well I would like to learn pretty much everything about editing videos is there any equipment I need in specific as well?
I’m wondering the same thing. I’m in southern California and LVNs aren’t commonly hired in that. Even RNs can have trouble getting jobs in this. It’s a popular specialty
Hey new subscriber 💕 I’m currently in LPN school and I want to be a l&d nurse.. what are some tips you recommend for getting L&D job as a new grad ?? I refuse to work in med surge or a nursing home lol.
Hey! Sorry, I took a break from RU-vid so I’m delayed responding. L&D is REALLY hard to get into but if there are positions out there in your area APPLY!!! I would also highly recommend getting some emergency medicine background, it will be really helpful. Other than that, it really just depends on the state and hospital if they allow LPNs to work on that unit and to what level. Use LinkedIn to look for those positions
1. finish my bachelor's degree by December 2023. 2. have my tummy tuck by 2024. my plan is to pay in cash. 3. save money for a house in about 3 to 5 years. those are my short term plans.
That’s kool your an LPN that works in L&D we aren’t allowed to work that specialty in Louisiana.. well not in New Orleans idk about every other hospital in Louisiana.
