Canelo is not scared of benavidez, canelo is scared of losing his belts vs dangerous opponents, that’s why canelo didn’t want to rematch Bivol at 168 for the belts, didn’t want young dangerous natural 168 pounders like benavidez and Morrell to defend his belts, look at his undisputed defenses, GGG, Ryder, Jermall, Munguia, none of them are natural 168 pounders, most of them come from naturally 154 pounders.
@@raulelblanco781 you’re asking how? It’s not an opinion, it’s a fact. GGG is listed at what, 5’10”? Naturally heavier than Canelo (Canelo even went up in weight to fight him the first time). Charlo, 6’0” also heavier than Canelo on fight night. Munguia, 6’0”, much heavier than Canelo on fight night. Ryder, about the same size as Canelo. Has fought at 168 for about 7 years (longer than Canelo). Fought guys like Smith, Jacobs, & Munguia at 168. This tells me maybe you haven’t watched these guys before? Canelo is 5’7” 5’8” maybe? Started his career at a much lower weight class than all these guys… Spin it however you want, we have eyes.
@@raulelblanco781 just because Canelo can beat up on bigger guys that doesn’t make him bigger. He’s still smaller than those guys, you can’t change the facts.
@@raulelblanco781 also, calling Benavidez a “natural 168 pounder” is a stretch. He just said in an interview that he walks around at about 200 pounds… what weight class is that? ____________
