i have a mackie onyx12 and i find the usb audio interface output a lot lower in volume than when just listening on the speakers, anyone else that has that problem? Now i need to gain stuff in ableton to get a decent volume again
The USB output will likely be pre-fader, so the mixer volume is not sent to the USB output. You will need to set the gain properly in your DAW if using the USB output to record. This is true of any interface. One tip is to pretend the mixer section is disabled if using it as a USB interface and treat it as if it were a separate audio interface unit.
Thanks for this vid. Well done, sir! I'm a wildlife filmmaker. Can this recorder accept external microphones such as a long shotgun for ambient sound recordings...like bird song?
We recommend you consult the manufacturer with specific questions like these. The input on the DR-10L pro is a 3.5mm(1/8") TRS with screw-down connector. Your external mic's cable would need to be compatible with that type of cable termination for a start.
I am having difficulty getting audio to play to the other linked Evers8 speaker. using XLR or TRS on inputs on one speaker only play to that speaker. The ONLY way that I have been able to play one source to both speakers is if I link my IPAD to one speaker with bluetooth and then link the speakers and all is well. All I am trying to do is connect my EWD wireless mic receivers to one speaker and have it play out of both. What am I missing?
You link additional speakers using the app. This is all outlined in the user manual -- for additional technical questions, please contact the manufacturer directly.
Any advice what I should use for singing and acoustic guitar? I don't want to use pickup just microphone for guitar. I need for practice and small audience. Should I use acoustic amp or PA and which one you are advice?
Isn’t it a bit of a pain and a waste of time to have to record each individual instrument? Isn’t that a giant downside to this drum machine versus one that has individual outs for each instrument so you only need to record the pattern once seems like this is going to take 4-8 times longer of a workflow.., seems like a pretty big downside
Well done. this was quite helpful but I need a full guide of the mg16xu and how can use it as a sound interface to record live sound for my church with each line independently. help me learn how to use it on adobe audition and logic pro
Great speakers !!!!! I used a EV zlx 200 18sp subwoofer to push the low ends and i got so many compliments!!!! I would recommend a subwoofer if your event is outdoors like mine was . Indoors these babies sound awesome, too, but a subwoofer is recommended to push the low ends . 😎👍(ZLX-12BT)
@@performermagI’m sorry. I obviously failed to pay attention to the date but I appreciate the reply. I just found your channel but Ive found the videos I’ve watched so far very informative and enjoyable to watch. I’ve subscribed and will be watching many more of your videos in the future. Thank you again, Greg P.S I found replacement cables on eBay and they are in fact MMCX cables
You can use a small block of wood between the thimble and the hammer as well, then gently tap the hammer down on the block of wood which presses the thimble into the slot.
I just bought exactly the same speakers today, for some reason the volume is too low, no matter how much you put up the volume it barely fills a small room, I know the speaker is pretty good and very loud, it could be something to do with the settings, I wish it's just a plug and play like that
You simply use either channel 1 or 2 -- these are Hi-Z only for 1/4" connections and mic-level for the XLR connection. All of this is covered in the manual, which you can download for free on the Steinberg website. steinberg.help/hardware-manuals/ur44c/
I was here for a tutorial on using Focusrite with laptop. But in the meantime, hey awesome rendition of Bowling for Soup's "1985"! One of my faves as a 'Radio Disney dad' in the early 2000s, listening in the car with my son.😄 Even though I was dad, I fully appreciated the many awesome tracks the younger folks put out at that time! I still jam to my Radio Disney playlist I made whenever I get a hankering for it!
Hi, we will be happy to reach out to the artist featured in this video to see if they have any further comments about the product. Keep in mind we filmed this over 5 years ago. Thanks for watching.
Sorry, we do not provide technical support for the products we demonstrate on this channel. We also haven't had this keyboard in our possession for almost 5 years, so we simply don't remember all the technical details of the product and its connectivity options. We recommend you contact the manufacturer's technical support staff for these types of inquiries. Good luck!
Forget the Steinberg USB Audio Interfaces ! Instead of buying a Steinberg UR44C today, next month or in a couple of months a Focusrite Scarlett, then the M-audio Air , you could put your money in the piggy bank until you have enough to buy directly a Prism sound or RME or Universal Audio Apollo Twin X or Babyface Pro audio interface and you would be set ! I also suffered like that and that's exactly why I'm talking to you from my whole heart from my own experience. And now I am in the top 10 the most beautiful studios in my city Timisoara, which was the cultural capital of Europe in 2023 and is the second city in my country Romania after Bucharest. I raised money after changing many pairs of active monitors, many usb audio interfaces, many studio microphones, I bought only high-quality studio equipment, everything that was in the top 3 studio equipment in the world, and now I have many clients and I lead a very nice life. My respects
I got this peaker in like October. I only used it 2 times for like an hour and now it doesn't power on. No indication it's getting power. The wall outlets are giving power and I changed the power cable. I don't know what happened. I kept it in its original box and in a closet. Did the heat get to it? I'm very disappointed. I loved this thing and it's practically brand-new.
Please note we do not manufacture nor do we provide technical support for the products we demonstrate on our channel. We suggest you contact JBL directly with any product-related issues.
