Ok, Fun Villain Facts! Re-destro: How his quirk, Stress works is that he requires any kind of stress for it to get stronger, which could be good for a battle. But he eventually realised that, stress can come from literally any negative emotion. Anger, hatred, fear, disgust, sadness, this can all fail stress. The reason he was feeling less stress as Shigaraki awakened was because as he saw him an emotion that was falling on him heavily was… Relief. Why relief? Ever since he was a child he wanted to follow destro will and allow freedom to all, for everyone to use their powers freely. The term of “heroes” and “villains” to not be a factor when using quirks (Hey, sort of like Nine). He was groomed since childhood to do this. But he finally realised: Was he truly free himself? He was made to want to do this, forced to even. Even if he wants to do this now, he’s just doing what he was first made for. He was chained to his bloodline. Shigaraki had no such shackles and was completely free in his eyes. No family line making him do this, no one telling him he needs to do this. He wants to do this. He, is truly free. Other then that, he runs detnerat :) He’s one of the richest men in Japan due to his company selling amazing support gear to many heroes and workers (some support gear seemingly being a bit too dangerous for civilian use. Though coincidentally it’s easy to get on the black market. The anime was hinting this earlier when Bakugo and Shoto defeated that water villain, Cider house). Unfortunately the anime cut out a lot of his scenes. Many people say Spinner was the one done dirty the most by the anime, but in reality a lot more was cut for re-destro. Ah well, they bring back some of the cut content in season 6 for spinner so ain’t a complete loss. Skeptic: Skeptics quirk, Anthropomorph, allows him to turn any object that is close to the size of a human, into a human puppet, with him able to make them look like any person he wants. He needs to properly see them to control them, which is why having so many cameras is useful. Oddly enough he likes turning things like a chair and table into humans but stills uses them like they’re still a chair and table. Creepy… Skeptic is part of the board of feels good inc, which controls a lot of surveillance in a lot of the country, with them even owning satellites. Skeptic basically controls the company, he created all the servers, mange’s the surveillance, he basically started the current system, which is why hawks if forced to be extremely careful, as he makes sure to watch him nearly 24/7. He can see almost anything, with him also being an excellent hacker. The reason the league were found was because he easily tracked down Giran and even brought back any deleted league records he tried to get rid of. He can control the media to spin stories for the MLA (I guess PLF now…) which includes what happened in Deika city. He also has trypophobia, fear of many holes. Not sure what that’s about… Geten: as you see, his quirk is ice manipulation. This power would be sort of niche if not for the fact that he can also control the temperature of ice. He couldn’t always do this however, he only unlocked this power because he had an awakening. He only had his awakening after watching re-destro burn his hand. This panic and stress suddenly allowed him to have his awakening and give him even greater ice control, now making him a very big threat. Regarding awakenings, they aren’t common at all, as they need very high stress emotions for them to happen, and even that isn’t a guarantee. Toga, Shigaraki and Geten may of all had them but as you can plainly see, they are rare. Some characters have been put in many stressful situations but haven’t awakened yet (and might never do so). It’s possible to have an awakening and not even realise it until much later. Don’t expect it to just keep popping up in quick succession or anything. Geten actually has a villain name known as Iceman, but you never hear this. He’s also was the MLA most skilled combatant, though he isn’t a commander. He’s pretty young, but above 18. Neglected school because of how busy he was training his quirk. Trumpet: Exists, I guess. He’s a politician. Leads the hearts and mind party, who help greatly for recruiting others into the MLA. Help spreadS the book of destro. Quirk is incite. Sorry, I don’t really like him. He’s extremely “meh” to me and is surprisingly the least developed MLA member. And I find that amusing as Curious is freaking dead. Speaking of- Curious Quirk: Killer que- I mean, landmine Status: Deceased. She was the executive director of Shoowaysha Publishing (which is a parody of Shueisha, publishers of shonen jump). Also spread the book of destro to the masses. A fun fact is that a certain major villain in season 4 got into villainy because of one of their villain history books. Wonder who that is? Ok MVA is done, and the season will be next episode, really hoped you enjoyed it! Only skipped one episode that introduced ochaco’s new costume and gear and connected to the next movie but I get it. My villain academia was the one arc in the series with the most cut content but this will probably never happen again.

And thus we get the conclusion to my villain academia, debatably the best arc of the show. (Although i still personally prefer the overhaul arc imo) And despite how much mha is criticized for "having too many side characters" and not giving most of them screen time. I'm personally able to forgive most of that cause it's balanced by giving us great villains. Especially shigaraki who over the course of the show has become (imo) easily one of the best Shonen villains (Probably the best modern Shonen villain, again imo) There's also everyone else in this arc, twice, toga (spinner who's story was sadly one of the many things cut). Overall just a great arc, and perfect set up for season 6.

Sanji having to take advantage of upgrades from his father's evil BS was really resonating with me because I know I have taken useful traits from my mother, and I really disliked my mother.

Fun fact: in the manga and anime shirakumo was only mentioned earlier at the end of the 1-A vs 1-B training. However there is a spin off manga called “Vigilantes” that was co-releasing with the main manga. It had many stories including Aizawa, Mic, Midnight (being in a year above) and shirakumo as UA students, also having shirakumo death shown in full. Months later, the manga reaches this part of the stories and manga readers were going crazy over the reveal. Other things: when you finish my season 5 check out the 3rd movie world heroes mission. Its themes parallels My villain academia nicely along with its villains, world building and lore. Regardless I can’t wait for your reactions for my villain academia!

If I had a nickel for everytime a shonen villain with a spiral power that allows them to teleport, while being under the influence of an ancient evil, and being former best friends with the mc's teacher until tragically killed and thought to be dead... One thing I can say for a certainty: now that DB's gone independent, future episodes are going to look _very_ interesting. Speaking for myself, I started watching in early-to-mid 2015. The Rainbow Dash Vs. Starscream episode was what drew me in (along with the Sakuya Vs. Dio OMM), but stuff like Deadpool V Deathstroke, Kirby V Majin Buu, and Chuck V Segata kept me there.
