Mostly music videos, especially 80s bands, Jimi Hendrix, and especially live or pro Game Theory and Thin White Rope - also artsy fooling around, slide shows of my photography with my favorite music, including fine art figure studies, and other random fun - for me, at least. :-)

I love Hendrix's stuff before he went to Europe. My favorite stuff of his is when he was in Curtis Knight and the squires group.

I quit being impressed by Hendrix, about 2 years after Are you Experienced. I knew every note in self taught practice He was on to a rote rock/blues thing, that was cool initially, but stayed the same because the rock world, is overboard clique. THIS, however is exiting, and like it should be. You can actually hear every note in clarity, innovation, and fullness. Now, I'm a real fan.

I bought a 2nd hand strat in 1967 for $120, at age 15, and have been gigging with bands every since. Hendrix has been a guitar hero of mine, since I first heard his intro to Hey Joe on a 45 played on a cracker jack box sized plastic record player in Majorca, Spain (where I was gigging with a Motown cover band). This cut shows him developing his chops which, a few yrs later, propelled him to stardom. There are some people who brighten up the lives of millions of others. Jimi was one of those very special people. I've even had dreams - of playing bass with, and interacting joyfully with Jimi.

@@angrylambie in the performances in the 70s, you see clearly that Jimi taught the youngest brother how to play guitar. He learned damned well too.

Good job on the sound. It’s strange how in certain circles they were relegated to strictly college crowds and music critics but they’re totally accessible here to a crowd that looks like they like Hall and Oates and Men At Work, not saying that there’s anything wrong with those groups or liking those groups mind you. But they were so underground at this point and yet have no trouble fitting in with this new wave/MTV crowd which I find sort of curious.
