Founded in 1923, Finnair is one of the world’s oldest operating airlines. We are a network airline specialised in connecting Europe, North America and Asia via our transfer-friendly Helsinki hub - our purpose is to enrich life by bridging the world. Sustainability is at the core of our strategy. Our long-term target is carbon neutrality: we want to maintain the social and economic benefits enabled by air connections, while dramatically reducing the carbon footprint of air travel.

I was for an interview as cabin crew last year as cabin crew, and was invited to Helsinki as the last stage in the process, but failed there. I was prompted to apply again, and I did, went all the way to the booked video interview, but suddenly received an e-ail. Asking me about my Norwegian passport, that is a non-EU, but an EEA; European Economic Area passport. I was then told that I needed an EU passport and my application was declined. Meaning, that I actually got the job last year, but the passport was an issue. Sad that Finnair didn't recognize that in the first place, I went to Helsinki basically for nothing.
Worst airline.....read the fine print, no date changes allowed unless full business flex.......my friend passed away unexpectedly in an accident and I needed to move my flight to attend the funeral, this was not possible, not even a flight credit......lost 2 x tickets at $28k HKD. The airline lacks any empathy and has a terrible customer experience.
