@@GrimSpeedFPV it doesn’t come with any but the instructions were on the Aliexpress page I bought it from. I didn’t download any new software, just used the software I downloaded for the Rhino escape from the rctimer page. For actual programming I followed the video that Holmes Hobbies made.
@@GrimSpeedFPV yep works as well as the Rhino at almost half the price. I’m thinking the price will go up like the Rhino did so I’ve got a couple of spare combos for future use!
Before the Megalithics came out, I ran the 1904s on most of my rigs. For the money, they provide a lot of performance. Thanks for a great comparison and congratulations on a fantastic crawler course!
@@davidconaway2830 cheers mate! I’m really impressed with the 1904. They don’t get the credit like others do but they’re also not from one of the big players either. Probably what makes me like them even more!
@@davidconaway2830 lol me too, but I do tend to sell my old ones off cheap. Wish I had of kept a few sets for this showdown though. Some really popular cheap tyres are just plain terrible.
Nice review mate and very nice backyard crawler course you have, envious of it. I've had a set of GMade MT1904 for a long time now but haven't put them in my rigs yet. I have a heavily modded and heavy TRX-4 Defender and Gen 8 Axe with some brass mods. However I recently bought the Redcat Ascent Fusion and excited to have it addition to my fleet and thinking of putting the Gmade MT1904s on it with custom beadlock and the Injora Blue silicone insert. I know the Ascent Fusion is not a heavy rig so you think the Injora Blue is too stiff for it? How about if I get the Green one would that better suit the MT1904 on the Ascent Fusion? Thanks man.
Hey mate. It’s hard to say, I don’t have that rig. At least with the blue inserts you can cut them some to make them softer. I’ve found the greens incredibly soft, I don’t have a crawler that light that they would work on. Sorry, probably not much help.
I’ve bought the green, blue, and red. The green ones are working pretty good on a 5.5 pound truck. I’ve found the blue is working ok on my 7 to 8 pound trucks. The red is way too stiff for any of my two axle crawlers so I used them on the rear axles of my 6X6 tow truck build. I’ll definitely be looking for Nerf darts on my next trip to Walmart. Thanks for posting your video.
Getting to the heart of the bracket now. I think the seeds have been good, going as expected, think this was the first one I didn’t assume to already know the outcome of. I think the tusk is going to be the tire to beat, so I wouldn’t hate seeing the bracket restructured to have the cut canyons moved somehow, maybe canyon v canyon before facing flat iron, and Tusks just waiting for the finals
"Here's some i prepared earlier" Reminds me of childhood tv craft shows. If only they had this type of content, we might have learned something useful. 😂 😎👍
Reason why you’re getting bad results out of the insurance because the tires too large for Ventura lack of knowledge test it was different size tires that you have that knowledge
The CT is as you mentioned a really versatile tire. I wonder how much of that tire hop on the Deep Woods is that insert... I have really soft 3D inserts in my Louise Champs and they are a lovely tire! However, a cut & shut CT is hard to beat...
Yes, could be the insert. The insert plays a massive part in the performance of a tyre and I've made every effort to ensure that the insert used is the best that I have to suit each tyre. That said, I'm sure that there could be a better insert out there. I still like this tyre, I think it is a very good budget option. On the flip side I feel like the Canyon Trail doesn't get the credit it deserves. It's a very, very good tyre, at least on my course!
I’ve done a heap more testing with a lot of tyres. The major issue with the Injora insert is the width. It is too narrow for a lot of tyres. That said I have found the Fimonda too wide for some tyres. I think the Fimonda is a much better design and more versatile, it fits more tyres, but the Injora suits a couple of my tyres perfectly. My advice would be to buy a set of each and try them.
I'm not certain they will face off against each other. I've been spending time re editing to make the sound better so the tests have stalled a little. Even if they don't face off I will do a test anyway!
@@ValleyCrawlers Just installed my tires - have also the pink Fimonda inserts. I was wondering if you had as well a bit of space between the inserts and the tire. For me it seems the inserts are approx. 2mm smaller in diameter than the tire. I guess is still okay (?), just wanted to hear how it fitted on your side. Many thanks!
@@wickedrclines yes they are a little short. I don’t find it a bad thing, if anything it helps a little. If Fimonda were to make a couple of different sizes, slightly taller and another not quite as wide, I think they would nearly have an insert for any tyre.
Yeh, you dodged one there 😂. I’ve had that crawler since August last year and still haven’t run it. It was a bit of an impulse buy and I’ve already got the TRX4 Sport. I’ll put some tyres on it someday soon and give it a run!
I recently heard of a battery starting a fire while just sitting in his car on a shelf. That has scared me into storage in a lipo bag and metal can. Glad you didn't lose everything
Yeh wow, I might be even more complacent than I thought as I do that sometimes. My situation could have been so much worse, I hate to think what would have happened if it had been left unattended another 10 minutes.
I also prefer the fimonda. However, you will need a a wheel that uses a 24mm ring for the fimonda, whereas the injora can use any. I put the fimondas in my ruptures and they made them shorter and wider, which I like. I have the injora blues in a 5,500g truck but the tires are a bit small for the insert so they are firmer and it works very well.
I had to go and check and all of my wheels are using 24mm rings. I think they would work well in Ruptures just as they work really well with Tusks. I did find that I couldn't fit the Fimonda inserts in one set of tyres as they are just too wide. I have a collection of both inserts now and between the two I can find a good insert for all of my tyres. I think if Fimonda came out with a narrower set that would be ideal for a wide range of tyres.
