Welcome to my channel! There's nothing better than finding the right road, at the right time, on the right motorcycle. I love cars and bikes. I love to think about them, buy them, work on them, and most of all, I love to drive them. Here's to the journey!
Above 10k pretty much the whole time :) It's easy to know when it is happy or not I like how you started riding lower in the power band when it got damp. Love this video! I mean it's peaky, but I liked how you discovered the midrange towards the end.
@@uscgsj9549 Naw started on a ninja 300. The cbr600rr is my third bike. I reckon you could start on any of them but you will gain skills faster on a smaller bike.
YES. THIS IS THE ZX4RR CONTENT I WANT, THANK YOU! all the other guys who post zx4rr videos just go in a straight line and rev bomb which yeah it sounds AMAZING and it’s a unique bike but PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD TAKE IT FOR AN ACTUAL RIDE…. i just want to see someone ride it like i will when i buy mine, so thank you for treating this bike the way it deserves to be ridden; down a nice twisty backcountry road. PLEASE POST MORE OF THIS!!!
I just watched this video and the Ninja 400 video. The difference in the sound of the two motorcycles is so different. The high pitch of the ZX-4RR sounds so hyper, so much more exciting and intoxicating compared to the Ninja 400. Basically the screaming, sonorous sound of the inline 4 cylinder of the zx4rr has ruined all the other parallel twin bikes in the 400 class for me, including the Yamaha r3, Honda cb500 the Duke 390, the ninja 400 and 500. It's a shame that no other manufacturer has come out with anything that can compete with the Kawasaki zx4rr, a small capacity inline 4 cylinder screaming engine.
Sound plays a huge role in how I enjoy these bikes. There's more to it than speed and HP. It's the sound, it's the playfulness, it's that character x-factor. 180 twins sound really flat, the 270 degree twins are much better and are great engines for a lot of bikes, but for a sportbike, you need revs and screams. It just completes the experience.
Did you notice a big difference with the tune? Full Akrapovic exhaust means header to muffler end pipe? What road are you on? The other motorcycle sounds so lifeless, boring in comparison to your inline 4 screamer.
I rode the bike home from the dealership then immediately put the full system and the tune on, so I didn’t get a lot of time with the bike in stock form. I can say it pulls hard through redline in the current state. The road is skags from Sonoma to the coast.
It's a valid question and I think the most honest answer I can give is that, to me, more power doesn't always mean more fun. And this bike I think best represents the "slow bikes fast" mentality and it just feels right. That and all that good 90's Japan nostalgia of small cc 4's.
@@robertgiaquinto9256 if you've never ridden a 400/4 you don't/can't get it. They are just more fun. Yeah a 600 is faster, so is a litre and a ballistic missile is faster too, the speed of light etc. But to be able to use the bike's full potential and power all the time, is great. A lot of people fall into the "my mates have all got litre bikes, I'd better do as they say" mentality, rather than making their own mind's up after trying something different, it's not always about 200bhp and 200mph+
@@LSB44446 I not scared or anything. It's just as nice as this thing is i don't think it's worth it. Besides im too satisfied with my ninja 400. Maybe next year.
First POV video of actuall canyon riding using the revs and actually taking corners in "full" speed with the zx4rr? More of this! getting out my own as soon as snow and gravel gets away from our roads here in Sweden.. zx4rr is my very first bike, so the hype is real!
