Multiculture and terrorism is different from each other, that is true. However, as the gentleman said, terrorism is a product of bad teaching, regardless if that's from religion or other ideologies, the fact is, any ideology can generate extremism and the way bad teaching the only defense to bad teaching is multiculturalism. Using it as a shield so that others won't be able to criticize how, for instance, Islam teaches religion to their members, or any other religion, ideology etc... By criticizing aspects of muti-culturalism, this will help prevent bad teaching. Say what you say about Christians, but their schools and churches abides the law of t he land which means that whether Christians like it or not, an atheist can criticize how they teach whether or not the criticism is reasonable or otherwise. If the muslim community wants tot have a special treatment that their religion shouldn't be subjected to cirticism, comedy, etc... which impedes freedom of speech of all individuals, if we are to grant that request, then it is fair to ask that muslim individual should also do the same by passing a law that prevents them from enjoying the freedom of speech, for instance, not allowing them to have a media, not allowing them to run for any position in the government. Either you fully accept the idea of freedom of speech or not at all but you cannot cherry pick each component of this basic human right which is the core foundation of western values. I am not British or American, I'm an atheist living in South East Asia, dominated by religious sects that has extremism on their own. If you don't want people to say anything about you or on your group, then you are also not allowed to say anything back to the people. Requesting for Sharia Law to be uphold, even if it only applies to the followers of Islam, directly contradicts the the law of the country, for instance, UK. They might as well live in countries dominated by muslims where Sharia Law is followed. TERRORISM IS A POLITICAL PROBLEM - Sure, but since when was the last time we saw a person strapped a suicide vest in the name of (insert political ideology here)? And furthermore, in countries where religion and politics overlaps each other, for instance, Muslim countries, there is not distinction between the two. Also, you can say politics and religion is different but if you treat politics as your religion, then you are going to have a problem, communism for instance. In China, almost all religion banned as it promotes anti-nationalism, to the point where the Chinese government not allowing churches from any religion and the brutal crack down of it's followers. In contrast, countries dominated by Islam where Islamic doctrine is used as the basis for the law, we saw similar things happening, an athiest is cannot exist in the open in countires where the law is based on religious text, but can strive in countries where the government ask the people to follow them without question... RELIGIOUSLY. There's a reason why there will always disagreement between China and America, as their values disagreese with each other and the same reason why China have a strong relationshihp with North Korea and Russia. I have a question. I was brought up as an Orthodox Jew, and obviously I don’t pray to Jesus. Does that make me a sinner? Are all Jewish people sinners because we don’t worship Jesus? We study the Torah not the New Testament. We have been doing it far longer than Christianity has existed. The only religion I know of that refuses to coexist with others is Islam, the false and fabricated religion.
