Just saw one of your videos yesterday and subscribed, next one was this. Hope to mive to UT and see you guys are in UT. Man - so sorry about your buddy. Very cool you showed him but he didn't get one more ride...? Lm
@@Dually-rb8xk It was headed to the junkyard when I got it. It was a 2wd. I could have let it get crushed. It’s now my daily driver. On a 06 crown Vic frame. Drives better than it ever did stock.
@@barryhebert5839 I have a Holley sniper in my 66 bronco and love it. But I would say so far the aces kit runs about the same. Installation was about the same also. The holley sniper is kind of your entry-level fuel injection kit so if you want to add boost or nitrous, there’s other things you would need to do for it to work. But the aces comes ready for add ons like nitrous or boost. Plus I think the aces screen is better. If you want the better screen from Holley, that’s another upgrade. Not taking anything away from Holley because like I said, I really love mine. But I think the Aces kit is a great cheaper alternative.
@@brassknucklecustoms yeah I ordered a sniper during the pandemic but it was on back order for two years I finally gave up on them canceled my order and moved on from my project and sold everything I had but looking at getting something else I do like that bigger screen on the ace I don’t like the look of that brick looking carb at least the Holley one at least the one I was trying get looked like an old 4 barrel carb an I’m not running boost or nos just a weekend cruiser big block in crewcab dually
Yea I like it too man. Need to do this to my 57. I’m putting in a factory look mini tub trunk pan. I already pulled the body off and sand blasted the frame and powder coated, rebuilt the suspension. Should have done this first. lol but I’m not that organized ha ! Good video buddy thx for sharing this with us all 👍🏻✌🏻
@@loganhanes8196 06-10 explorer floor shifter. The crown Vic shift cable hooks right up to it. I also made a center console to go over it with cup holders. I should have a interior video coming up soon.
If i had the money I'd hotrod it and maybe try to found out its story. Like what was it used for and who did it belong to before being gutted and stuff? Now i aint shaming you or nothing, i think it looks cool as yard art too, but it would also make a sick hotrod
I appreciate you doing this. I wasn't sure it would work for my truck frame, seeing as how the engine stands aren't tall enough to allow the hubs to clear the brace that ties the two stands together. I see it's not as critical to have as I had thought. I'm using a semi truck manual brake slack adjuster to make a geared version I can turn with one hand.
I’m going to do this on my ‘55 frame. I just got the body off last week, need to strip off the suspension, flip it over and get to cutting. This was a nice video, I don’t need to see every agonizing detail, keep us updated on your build.
We’ll do. The kit is great. Very easy and detailed instructions. Check out my frame rotisserie video if you want to see how I made this job a little easier.
