I don't think that's safe enough from baggage handlers who want to steal something from your luggage. They will just poke the zipper with pen and it will open.
These locks are designed to be a visual deterrent to pickpockets and to stop them from opening your bag when you're out and about. To stop the crime you describe your best bet is to use this item: www.corporatetravelsafety.com/safety-tips/the-best-luggage-locks-a-guide-to-finding-the-right-lock/ as it stops anyone from using the zipper pull to reseal the opening by traveling over it
This item only work on the inside side of doors that swing inward. In other words you have to be in the room with an inside opening to use the item, You can't put it in place, open the door and and leave the room unoccupied.
Thanks for this informative video, nicely done and good demonstration of what fits inside the 12l bag. I was looking for something for that! seems like a nice product!
hmm.. it is portable, but how about traveling, is it safe to bring on a aeroplane? is it safe to pass by TSA? sometime TSA not allow to bring item like this.. idk why.. i have been bought like this n it didnt passed..😧
Do you guys know the diameter of the hole in the locking device where you pass the padlock through? I like the bag but I want to use a different padlock than the one it comes with.
The bag definitely fits an 11" Macbook. As for a 12" Macbook, quite possibly, to help you make the decision the bag dimensions are (H x W x D): 10.6" x 16.5" x 4.3". If you order the bag and your laptop does not fit, you may return the bag for a full refund. Need more help finding an anti-theft bag? The exomesh covers approximately half of the lower bag and sides. It is designed to thwart bag-slashers. Bagslashers typically target the lower portion of a bag to let things fall out or be pulled out. If you want a fully exomesh enclosed bag, look at this as an option. www.corporatetravelsafety.com/catalog/ultimatesafe-z15-anti-theft-backpack.html If you need more assistance in choosing the right bag for you, you can call to talk to a travel gear specialist at 800 601 5711.

+tubbie0075 Thanks for the question - No the top compartment does not feature eXomesh, however, this is not an issue, as the top compartment is just used to conceal the Exomesh cage which when cinched up, provides 360-degree protection from bag slashers. On our website we have an in-depth description of the Pacsafe Z28 security backpack, as well as several photographs which the Exomesh cinched up and locked, which prevents anyone from cutting the top of the bag and removing items from within. Additionally, if you watch the video again, at the time mark of 1.20 you will see how the eXomesh cinches up and secures the top of the bag's security compartment. Keep in mind that the eXomesh is also embedded into the top of the bag where the security cable is also embedded for cinching purposes. +Travel Gear and Advice by CorporateTravelSafety I'm sorry, I made a mistake and spoke about the Z-28 in the previous comment, however the questions was about the Z15 - But no worries, the above comments still pertain to the Z15, as they are the same, except for size. +William Hartanto Thanks for your comment and question about the Travelsafe 12L - its one of out best selling portable travel safes for use when protecting larger items such as laptops and larger cameras. The Pacsafe TravelSafe 12L is water resistant - but not waterproof. It's designed to keep items safe from theft, and light water exposure such as overnight or morning dew - to a very light sprinkle - and that's mainly for the outside canvas material. However, you are correct, even with the cinching of the bag at the very top to secure the contents of the bag, there would be a very small gap which water could get inside. Not a lot of water would get inside - but that would depend on how hard the exposure was to water - it is not designed to keep the contents dry if submerged, or exposed to heavy rain. Most of the times, when someone uses the Travelsafe 12L in an outdoor environment, they place it inside another bag to help conceal and avoid drawing attention to it. Additionally, we have had some customers purchase this product and wanted an extra layer of water resistance - and they just put a large zip-lock bag inside. Just a thought if this is an issues. Just came back from my 6 months trip around SEA myself. This is the one I brought. I LOVE this pack. Amazing. Always felt secured even in the most dangerous places I have been.
+Sven Lifestyle Thanks for your comments - what features did you like best about the Venturesafe 65L - especially which of the security features did you like and use the most. What were some of the places you went with the pack? Thanks for taking the time to let us know
#1 feature: The fact that you can lock the bag to a secure location and the patent zipper. Some places I went to had no lockers. So I felt safe, #2 The strap cover built in the bag. #3 the over all look of the bag is great. I went to Bulgaria, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore in 2015. I am Pacsafe's biggest fan and because of me many many backpackers have purchase this product after I showed it to them. I know many many pacsafe products. Love this company. I want to make a video on my channel about it. Cheers!
+Sven Lifestyle Thanks Sven - I agree, the ability to lock down the compartments, the anti-slash mesh, as well as the lock down steel strap are the top security features why travelers consider this bag. That list on countries you visited in Asia is a traveler's dream. How long were you gone for? what type of accommodations did you stay in during your trip?
+Lorna Canes Good Question! Here are the specifications of the waist pack. Thanks for the question. The bottom of this Console Vault is an "X" bracket, which is held in place with the flange nuts. Take at look at the video at the 56 min mark and you will see the bracket. The bottom has to be this way so the panels can all fit inside, then bolt together. Here is the link for more info about the product: www.corporatetravelsafety.com/catalog/ford-console-vault-truck-safe.html Hopefully that answered your question. The Pacsafe Camsafe Z25 Camera and Laptop Security Backpack is a great product to help protect valuable camera gear and laptops while on the road. Watch the video to see the great security features of the bag
Thanks for the question. While I dont have a Canon 70, I does fit my Panasonic FZ1000. It has a built in 25 - 400 zoom lens it that help. Additionally, the bag has a height of almost 12 inches, so if you put the camera in by the base, and had the lens standing straight up, it may work depending on the height of the lens. Lastly, a friend uses it with a Nikon DSLR and he removes the lens and it fits. Hope it helps
I HAVE ONE IN MY 4RUNNER ITS AWESOME, Whenever I have an oil change, whenever I valet park or have the car washed I put all my stuff I dont want stolen in it, mine is keyless.
sexisaweapon lewis Thanks for your comment - The Console Vault for the 4 Runner has been a great seller, especially since it is now made for years from 2015 all the way back to 2003. You mentioned that you use it when valet parking or going to the car wash - the are two of the most common uses for the Console Vault. What's your thought on the keyless over the keyed version. What made you go with the keyless? Thanks again for your comment
Travel Gear and Advice by CorporateTravelSafety I chose keyless, because I didn't want to lose the key, or take the key to it off the ring when valet parking or having maintenance done. In addition if law-enforcement feels the need to unnecessarily search your car, they have no access.
Thefts of small items have always been an issue at car washes - which is why you are smart to use like your are. Funny you should make a comment about theft which occurs during car service. The below video was just sent to us showing a employee stealing change from the center console when the car's tires were being balanced/changed. The video really sends home the point is you can never be too careful whenever you leave your vehicle with someone else. Here's the RU-vid video link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-A577RACUUg8.html When you installed the vault, how long did it take to install? Kevin
Yes, you can carry this bag onto the plane. Prior to doing so it will, like all other carry-ons, need to go through the screening xray first. The TSA will see the steel mesh and all the contents of the bag. It is a completely TSA accepted bag.
