It's nice to see this latest 3-in-1 eAxle, from Magna, which is officially called the 'eDS High HE' (eDS = electric Drive System). Dimensions of this unit are 490mm x 480mm x 300mm. It is interesting to see that the inverter is mounted on the side of the transmission/reducer - a configuration which I have seen a few times recently, from other eAxle suppliers. I'm assuming this is done to make it easier to mount this eAxle vertically, with the motor above the output shaft (often used in front-mounting), or horizontally, with the motor beside the output shaft (to reduce overall height, for rear-mounting). And if you did want to 'look up Mike', as suggested by the interviewer, this is Mike Dowsett, of Magna.

This development is a game changer. Imagine how many lives it will save not only in the US but around the world! Great that you're using the Seeing Machines Driver Monitoring System (DMS) to verify if the driver is really incapacitated. I assume this is the DMS located the Magna Mirror. I'm very keen to know which auto companies will be using it. Thanks.
I'm liking what I see. I think all cars should have a universal driving stalk that can be used in left or right can nations or between drivers like the GM Hywire/Sequel prototypes had 20 years ago...
