What a Protestant looking church! Where is all the art and where are all our Saint friends?? This is the result of post Vatican Council II. Please return to the Traditional Latin Mass and leave this Buginni New Order (Novus Ordo Mass) behind!!! Go to the mass that the Saint attended!!
Merry Christmas to both of you. You two are truly prayers fulfilled. The work on the church is so extremely beautiful. I see your deep and meaningful Catholic style being instilled in our Sanctuary. Thank you so very much. It's beautiful.

Thinking of you fondly, Deacon Jim. We moved from Indiana to New Mexico back at the end of 2020, but we remember your strong, calm presence and wonderful homilies. Not sure why your video was in our news feed, but perhaps God wanted to bring us together again. Extending to you the love and peace of Christ that is beyond all human understanding. ~The Vernons.
I met Cardinal Turkson. Besides being a highly intelligent, articulate man, he is kind and humble with a great sense of humor. God bless you always Cardinal.
Wow, what an EXCEPTIONAL person! Although not a Catholic (I was raised Anglican but frankly almost completely fail with belief of any stripe), I have studied the Church extensively - its personalities and characters both historic and current, its architecture, rituals, language, politics - internal, interfaith and secular, its influence. Even the development of its dress and garb. However, whilst the Church as a whole may well be tremendously fascinating as "an object of study" I believe it quite simply as a colossal but diffuse moral force. While the various scandals which have peppered the Church's existence have been problematic, in many ways they are understandable (if hardly condonable) human failures and at the same time, give those left standing an even greater burden to shoulder (which serves to increase and intensify that moral force) - forging on, trying to win the match, even with their teammates scoring own goals. I struggle greatly with the concept of the various Councils - nothing more more than clouds of hot gas expelled in the nuancing of the finest theological points as if one side's theory were more provable and correct than the other's, like it's a physics experiment! And don't get me started on the Bible which probably counts as a marvellous work of literature (found in the Fiction section). It is even possible the literal human individual person of Jesus is actually not historic, but a composite. Despite these gaping holes in my perception of the very fabric of religion, somehow the overall impression I get is something to be thankful for, an appreciation of its existence and an acknowledgement that it would be missed, greatly, if no longer there. Cardinal Turkson is a true leader and shining example to humanity. He would undoubtedly feel extremely uncomfortable if I said "Christ-like" but that is nevertheless the sensation he engenders. And that for me is the crux - I am sure, with his hyper intelligence, advanced post doctoral degrees and years of running a big department, he could, if pressed, explain the most arcane and esoteric doctrinal concepts to anyone who asked. But for me, it is not through being preached at or told to believe this or that - it is simply the sheer humility - and strength - which compel. God save him.
Why is RU-vid and others pushing for Cardinal Turkson to be the next Pope. Apparently Turkson believes he should be elected Pope. This is very arrogant on his part. The Holy Spirit chooses the Pope.
@@iBEEMprojectI LISTENED TO THE WHOLE SPEECH OR HOMILY, I THINK HE ONLY COMPARED THEIR BACKGROUNDS, WHICH SHOULDN'T BE A CHALLENGE. THE CARDINAL IN MY OPINION DIDN'T DO ANYTHING WRONG. HE CONCLUDED NICELY BY ASKING THE PEOPLE TO USE THEIR DIVERSE BACKGROUNDS TO BUILD THE KINGDOM OF GOD. LONG LIVE CARDINAL TURKSON, LONG LIVE THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH. BLESSED BE GOD FOREVER.
Thank you Father for this wonderful sermon. May God bless you always. It is not always easy to give from the little you have without hope of tomorrow.I pray God to give me grace to start giving because givers never lack.
