Be careful where you buy yr grease from bc I switch back to Dax and blue magic, and both of them were different than I remembered. They were very light and greasy. Nothing like before. And I just found out that none of the hair grease from back in the day is black owned.😮😮😮😮
If your hair isn't growing in a protective style, something is definitely not being done right. I always have a great amount of growth from protective styling.
I stopped dyeing my hair with henna two years ago because it caused dryness and excessive shedding. It was also difficult to remove grains of henna from my hair. It was just too time consuming and exhausting. Are there any other better non-chemical alternatives?
Dark Palm Kernel oil let it sit on the hair for one to two hours.or overnight. Put it in everything that you put in your hair ,Like leave -ins, oils, shampoo, and conditioner with consistency.
Beautiful I stared using grease again and honey I feel like my hair grew within two week lol it’s thick and wavy I add water in a spray bottle I’m taking care of my hair again I’m so happy it’s down my back always have long hair but the thickness is amazing we have the same texture ❤🫶🏾
I used it for a month my hair was much better in terms of texture going full grey made my hair really dry and easy to break this was fixed with the pomade. In terms of colour it did darken the grey but didn't make it totally black. It was almost a dark blond colour. I think personality it would probably work better if you have the salt and pepper stage it would hide the greys by blending them in
I got tired of listening to everyone telling me not to put oil on hair before straightening. I use a good lightweight oil and I love it! I like the oily shinny smooth look. I can’t use grease though because it’s too heavy. I have to use a good shampoo though since I use oil on hair to prevent product build up
Hi, Ms. Laura! Thanks for the video. I realize I am a late caller. Ghee is used within skincare, shampoo and others. What I do know is most products that are grown(from the ground or trees)or processed and marketed. If we are able to digest it, also, we should be able to apply in other places as within the scalp, and certainly results should develop. However, that product may/may not produce as expected but possibly adding or exchanging within the process something different.
I have not seen that container in decades ...so they finally brought back the green gel...it's firm but not hard and not greasy.....Sof'n Free Moisturizing gel and Hawaiian Silky Dry Feel Gel are the best gels.
First of all, I do not use grease in my hair, it is too heavy on my hair. I did dye my hair for the first time with 100% Organic Ayurvedic Henna and Indigo. I got the color I wanted. Now what I do to maintain the color between color treatments, which I only color my hair every 4 months with Henna & Indigo. Monthly I use an organic Black Tea Tonic, that has black tea powder, cloves, onion peel (brown skin of the onion), and boil for 15 minutes in distilled water. Wash your hair, spray the roots and leave it on for 4 hours before rinsing it out. I use only organic ingredients. This helps me to get rid of my grays with only organic natural ingredients.
@cbchang6200.....I totally agree with you. Henna is a healthy way of coloring hair. I've been wanting to try it on my hair....I've only used it for fake tattoos...lol Henna has been used for centuries in India and Mediterranean countries. Grease has petroleum.
Your hair looks really good, you did a good job, I started using the SCurl line in April 2024 and I love it, thanks you look fabulous! Keep up the good work, like the accent!!
It's amazing how products are used or were used in the past. I remember older relatives having these products in their medicine cabinets such as: Camphorated oil, Carbolated vaseline, pine tar, etc. They all had their purpose and supposedly really worked during those times. You don't see these products on the store or pharmacy shelves anymore.😊
My mom would wash our hair with egg shampoo and braid our hair, the next day she would press our hair with apex pressing oil with a hot comb, our hair stayed pressed for two weeks .so every two weeks it was washed and pressed, don't remember ever having our ends clipped but we had long hair,I still do the same thing and have long hair.
