It's got great scenery everywhere outside of Gresham but the city itself is a s*** hole. The people here suck a**. This place has way too many people in it
Well Karla. I live in Gresham and the picture window of my living room offers a terrific view of nearby Mt.Hood, all 11,249 feet of it. It's close enough for me.
I grew up in Cascade Locks...(have since been living in Colorado) and I loved going to Crown Point because it was close. Not much to do in Cascade Locks when you live there. It's great for tourists. I watch the another channel who kreeps around Gresham on his bike....I love learning the history and stuff. Why not post a video about things to do only in Gresham? Plus ...folks always seem friendly. Maybe it's all that ionized water from the rivers and waterfalls.
Even though gresham is over 100,000 people it at times has a small town feel. A weekly trip to Fred Meyers is a high school reunion. I always run into multiple people I know. Most of the people in Gresham are very nice. You do have a few rougher neighborhoods but what town doesn’t..,
I'm in Multnomah County Sellwood area, my rent on January 1st 2022 went up almost $200. Now I am a single mother 2 bedroom at $2220. Moved in 3 yrs ago at $1850. Especially during pandemic increase of tax and rent should halt temporarily. Things haven't gotten better yet and yet there are increases everywhere. When you move to a place you choose based on what you can afford. This I can't afford, and I do not have the means to move.
I’m sorry you’re in this situation. The only way to truly keep your rent from going up is to own. Both land lords and tenants have been hit hard in this pandemic.
