Woo hoo. Yes, we should watch it. I’ll try to get caught up. I love loved this vlog. I think it’s the best one of all! We’ll talk at lunch love you so much
"Is there that much drugs in an MFA program? I don't know because my masters is in library science." 😆 Does deckled edges mean they're uneven on the side? I have a soft spot for those because of growing up with Dear America books.
So funny story (😁) I had heard the romantic setup for Funny Story, but I had not heard the "tour guide" plotline and that's a huge selling point to me! Love the Ice Planet Barbarians spiciness scale.
I am not a monster romance girl at all but the worldbuilding in Stalked by the Kraken does sound really interesting. I haaate short highway entrance ramps-- there's an interchange near me that has what I literally call My Least Favorite Exit because both the exit ramp and entrance ramp are way too short. I like 30-40 minute videos best because an hour plus feels like too much of a commitment (I really don't like pausing videos in the middle and coming back to them), but you're right, I'm always seeing comments on Olivia Reads a Latte's from people who love long vlogs.
The next book is a librarian and a gargoyle set in the same world! Thank you for your feedback on video lengths! I’ll take it into consideration but I’m a talker so sometimes it’s hard lol
Excited to watch this and listen to you, while i clean my room!! I am a classics-addict too but i recently realised i havent touched any 'classic' feminist lit as well! Looking forward to checking up on your recommendations and damn, if i only had a friend that could talk a hour long about literature, i find that in you <3
The fourth book felt unnecessary and honestly don’t think it’s truly needed. Grandest Games seems like it will be better and a good way to see what they are up to
I’m writing a book too (actually multiple in different styles). I prefer first person overall but some of my stories are in third because it’s a lot of characters and storylines going, and it’s easier to switch around and go to a different POV for a scene or two in third. I like first better because I feel more connected to the main character while writing, but I can read either just fine. Most of the time I write a chapter in each style then decide which one I like better if I’m having trouble figuring out which one I should use. But you having written the whole first half of the book😅… I wish you the best of luck!❤
To be fair i dont like reading books in first person. It feels so akward. I like to "watch" characters in the book not being one myself if that makes sense
