I've just decided to start quilting as my first Grandson will be born this week (Can't Wait) so I'm waiting on my sewing machine to arrive and your video was the first one that came up when I searched "How to". I'm originally from the UK so it's lovely to hear some familiar voices guiding me. Can't waiting to get started. Going out today to get my supplies! ♥
Hey there! You can always adjust the speed of the video in the settings. We have also popped a link to a photo tutorial in the description box, which might be helpful 🥰❤️
Most annoying thing in all of the fiber arts: Quilts are not quilted. They are patchwork textiles. Quilted textiles are rarely if ever found in quilts. How annoying is this? Very.
Oh Ladies, I just found this video and I love, love, love it 😻 It is without a doubt the best one I’ve seen. I’m a complete novice and you have answered so many questions. You are clear and concise, the camera angles are perfect and more than anything, your encouragement and enthusiasm is contagious. I cannot wait to get started. Thank you ! 😊 x
Great fun...? Up until now, I must have started my project a good 12 times and almost dumped it in the garbage! I never know whether I'm coming or going, and I hate pulling on the stitches so that the stitches on both needles are properly distributed 😢 Your instructions are absolutely impeccable! I love the way you explain every detail. Most instructors just tell you what to do without the 'why'. Because of your amazing demonstration, I will attempt to knit my baby beanie hat on the round, one last time! Thanks for the great encouragement ❤ Just one question before I get started. How do you go about counting/calculating the rows for decreasing if the work has been split into 2 sections? Do I still follow the setup you've explained and simply add a marker...?
me doing the exercises agressively loool. i'm only at round 5 of maybe 8 rounds of one side for a circular bag and my hand was kinda awfully hurting TT plus the cord i'm using (macrame cord) is kinda stiff and gives me pain i hadn't felt so much with regular yarn. never using macrame cord again. edit: this will go into my crochet playlist, for future references. thnx.
Just made my first knitted baby hat thanks to you!! I so appreciate you offering the pattern and video-really helps me learn how to read patterns. Thank you!!

I'm sorry but I agree! If you are explaining to a beginer to the point of someone not knowing how to do a slipstitch, you would think you wouldn't want to completely skip a row.
After that first video of yours that helped me so much, I looked through your channel to find a way to do the purl stitch- once again thank you so so much. This is truly the best tutorials I’ve ever found for this. I’m so excited to finally create the things I’ve wanted to for years with all the yarn I’ve hoarded haha ❤
You sure can! You might want to create a few of those and then sew them together to make it a little wider. Here is a link to the blog post, with some more inspo: www.lovecrafts.com/en-gb/c/article/how-to-finger-knit
Thank you for this tutorial. I watched so many others and wanted to give up learning because they didn’t explain what they were doing well enough, or went too fast, so I just got lost and confused. But this was so easy to follow, thank you
You lost me at the 2nd row. What did you do to make it curve down? You said 1 stitch on every chain. But now you’re saying it’s 61 chains, but you only started out with 51 chains? You cut the video without explaining thoroughly. I just stopped watching.
