It's a red state is a GOOD thing. Blue people should stay in those bubbles, no real animus intended, I love everyone, but because they muck up the red state's GOOD qualities if they reach critical mass. They sometimes FLEE the crap the blue state has precisely BECAUSE it is blue, that's how they roll, they are their own demolition crew. Then , incredibly, they want to muck up wherever it is that they move to, then complain because the cannot connect the dots that it is precisely the BLUE mindset that is the problem, no offense, dear, you're young, chances are you'll figure this out. So many anti communist Chinese get it, what's up with YOU? . Glad you're at least open minded. Orlando is pretty blue, actually.
❤❤❤ Thank you for sharing. If you already like walking, perhaps your hobby should be exploring all the different sidewalks, dirt trails, and parks around your area? Maybe you take up hiking (although I’m not sure what your options are in Florida when it comes to hiking) - maybe you take a little mini vacation for a hiking adventure. If you like dogs, maybe you volunteer at a shelter or use your skills to put together a bake sale fundraiser for a local shelter. That may fill the “doing things for others but with boundaries” column. I hope you find pieces of yourself along the way. I haven’t watched your move video yet, but I imagine moving across the country really allows you to reinvent yourself that much more easily. I recently moved myself, and it is so freeing (but also terrifying) to find new friends. Stay well, my friend. I’m rooting for you. ❤
WOW! Thank you for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful comment and one totally tailored to what you heard in the video, appreciate that so much. These are incredible ideas and really helped me think more - <3
I’m glad you’re taking necessary steps to take care of yourself and your mental health after everything that’s happened to you. I dealt with identity crisis in my mid-20s and sought help. That’s when I discovered that I had a lot of underlying trauma that was affecting my decision making through my adult life. From the I learned to not forget but forgive the people who did bad things, as well as to let go of certain values that no longer serves me. I came from the Philippines so there were certain values that they instilled in my brain that I had to let go. I experienced grieving for letting go of certain aspects about my life that I thought was beneficial. It was hard but sometimes you just have to cry it out. Fast forward to current time, I learned that grieving doesn’t have to occur when someone dies, it can happen too when a part of you no longer exists. And it had helped me adapt to certain situations and became more resilient because I had let go of what once was. Idk if I make sense, but I just wanna say that grieving is a good thing and it’ll allow you to let go of the past and be in the moment. Take care and I’m looking forward to more of this type of content💕.
Thanks for taking the time to share and respond with so much detail!! We all have so much in common and it’s definitely nice to hear about others struggles and know we are FAR from alone.
Definitely renting (and honestly cannot afford to buy, rebuilding after divorce). I’m not sure if this is forever home but we shall see over the next few years! 🫶
Another trick to pop air bubbles is the helicopter method. When I go to thin out my base icing I use a silicone plate with raised sides. It helps me mix like how I would mix paint and I can pop a lot of air bubbles that way as well.
Thanks for this wonderful video… loved seeing you go through the process of fixing what wasn’t working and staying so positive in the process! Question is, can rolled buttercream be painted?
Hi.. I love watching your videos so informative and I ordered some things from you which came quickly and everything is beautiful. Thank you. My question is you use a 20/25 second icing?
Hi! Thank you for this and for supporting our small business! Yes- I do- it’s something that doesn’t settle well on its own and I have to scribe or jiggle the cookie a bit to get it smoothed out :)
I’ve yet to figure out (just based on the tax structure, politics are a complete other rabbit hole that I won’t get into) why anyone would (or can!) afford to stay in California. Florida has its own shade of crazy, no doubt. I like to visit California - beautiful place, but find everything so cost prohibitive. We are in ATL metro now, but don’t intend to stay here either and hope to move to the midwest (north TX or Oklahoma) in the next two years. Moving (and especially long distance moving) is an absolute PITA, but we will definitely be hiring movers. We’ve moved ourselves cross country more than once and I swore in our last move (DC to Atlanta) that we would *never* move ourselves again. haha!!
It did take me a couple of weeks to unbox him, but some of that was intimidation of the setup. It did take me longer than anticipated, but my *only* regret is that I waited so long to purchase him. While I agree he is a great addition to my cookies business, I do think there is beauty in both hand decorated and printed. Also love the sprinkle tray which I purchased after recommendations from more than one baker. So far so good - I’m incredibly happy with my purchase.
you should dispute the charges from the moving company. i got multiple estimates when i moved in December and the price i was what i paid with no surprise charges. they asked about using shuttle vs 18 wheeler in advance for both loading & unloading. they know that a big truck can't fit down every street & you should've been advised of that. i hope you used a credit card & if you did, then dispute it thru them. And if you move again, make sure you use a company that sends someone to your home in advance & go thru every room in your house to point out exactly what will be going. they can give you a quote on the spot. that is what you pay and nothing more. i hate to say this but i think you were taken advantage of. i really hope you didn't tip these people bc that sounds like an awful experience.
