Tiny is still kicking! I’m transforming it into my office/studio. Might get around to making a video about it once I’m able to make some more progress. These days I’m busy with a house reno and our baby daughter.
In hindsight, do you know if the rubber material was needed? I am using zip system sheathing and I'm not sure if i need to put anything on it or if I can install my metal roofing directly on it. Thanks for the videos!
I haven’t used zip, but unless you’re sure that nothing can get into the seems between sheathing panels, I would suggest a membrane or at least overlapping roofing paper.
There are NO OTHER video's out there that explain this as well. .. The others are all geared toward 'content creators' and not the 'average viewer' like me. ..... I agree, the hostile Leftist radicals that are inflaming, dividing and pulling apart this great country at its seams I really need to only watch that news and make my enraged comments on a different channel, and keep another set of channels for just learning, education and fun content and comments. Obvious I haven't set that up yet. (wink). See, this is why I need to do this ;) But I now I know how! I appreciate your tips. Thank you for the video. I have to raise my floor up inch to match another floor in my house on the main floor so I’m confused on the installation. Do I do base bottom plate/vapor barrier/plywood to raise floor/engineered hardwood or is it base bottom plate/plywood to raise up the floor/vapor barrier/engineered hardwood?
You mentioned main floor - as in you have another floor below it, like a basement? Usually there is a vapour barrier under the concrete slab of the foundation/basement, and you don't put a vapour barrier under the upper level floor. Some underlays for flooring will have a vapour blocking property to them, but I'm under the impression that it's more for keeping spills off the plywood.
@@RookieRoost no basement. The main floor meant the only floor and not the second story. Sorry! The concrete is the base floor that is made of rebar directly on the ground. So do you put the vapor barrier over that before using the plywood to raise the floor and then the engineered hardwood?
You have to paid a monthly fee to become a Patron and be able to use this extension, but this video never mention it, a little bit deceiving, I think...
As long as you're signed in with the Google Account that has Premium, any RU-vid Brand Account made under that email will have Premium automatically. To switch between brand accounts (on desktop), click the profile picture in the top right of RU-vid, then go to "Switch account" and a list of Brand Accounts (and accounts you manage) will be there. On mobile, tap the profile image in the top right, then on your profile name. A list of managed accounts will appear and you can switch from there. If you create a RU-vid channel with an email or Google Account that doesn't have Premium, you can assign your Premium Account as a channel manager. It will then appear under the account lists on your Premium account. To do this, go to Settings > Add or remove manager(s) > Manage Permissions > Invite (top right). Hope that helps!
Oh man, I know. It's absurd. It does have the side benefit of allowing you to "train" the algorithm for each account, though. Goes a long way for avoiding spoilers. You do need to be vigilant about only watching certain content on each account, though, and use the "don't show me this" option when something gets through.
It's a Panasonic, but I haven't done any real testing with it since the house in unoccupied most of the time. Check out LUNOS for an HRV system. I've seen success with them in a tiny house and would probably be what I'd use today.
Why this doesn't have a million views I don't know? I mean I'm not going to go and investigate, because I'm pretty sure that my dense ass just doesn't realize that there's probably a million more people talking about the same subject on RU-vid.
I used both of your advices, created different channels and sorted the subscription out, and then wanted to create groups under certain channels. To my surprise the subscription groups I created under 1 channel still appear when I switch between the channels. Like, it ruins half of the effort. I was hoping that groups belonging to one channel would not appear under another channel... :(
Are you using a browser extension of some kind to create the groups? That may cause them to appear across all channels, since it will be tied to whatever account you have signed in to the browser. That's a bummer... In that case, you may want to go the route of using multiple email addresses and creating different user accounts for the browser.
@@RookieRoost yeah, im using that extension for Chrome you shown in the beginning. Group manager or whatever it’s called. Haha, that’s an idea of detour ! However, I won’t be going that far I think
