@@AutoBuddynz For some reason, presumably because the battery is flat, the passenger door won't open. Which obstructs the handle to pop the hood/bonnet. I can get in the vehicle, but no further.

Why would you not install new brushes since you have done all the work of removal and disassembly of the alternator? I say remove worn brushes since the short brushes allow reduced spring tension and that allows more brush/slip ring arc’ing and thus increased slip ring erosion. There is already very little copper thickness on more modern slip rings. Heck, in older times you could turn slip rings on a lathe and get yearsssss of life from them, IMHO.🎉
@@WiekingderViking Agreed, however this was a quick turnaround. Unfortunately most parts in this part of the world takes several days to arrive if they are in stock in the country, anything to do with brushes, diode packs or voltage regs that a long time to arrive.

I started my sprinter in the morning parked it in the garden and it shutted off by itself and after that i couldn’t start it, NO CRANK, no start. What it can be?
If you check photos of 402c pump. It comes with a white plastic part which is connected to the bottom of the pump. Where is it? I mean why it is not in your video?
@@trashcan4u853 Thats correct its the holder for the pump, most of the time due to the age of these toilets they are missing, not a big deal still does the job as long as you follow my video
This is how you determine tge correct type. Sit on the toilet, now place your hand on the exterior wall (may have a window) which ever hand is touching the exterior facing wall is the cassette you require. Ie. Left hand = LH C400 toilet cassette

Recently bought a used Mercedes camper van here in Chile that was imported from Germany...... All the instructions are in German! Got the red light coming on when trying to fire up the heater...... At first I thought it was because the boiler had air locked....we had low temperatures recently and the Auto-Drain valve operated to drain & protect the boiler from frost damage. And I had recently changed the LPG cylinders over...... so this video was very helpful. Cheers mate!
Differentials need to serviced as they get worn and metal fragments build up in the oil. Over time this can cause excessive wear to the bearings, pinion etc

I've swung from delete and leave a few times. But now I'm settling on block off professionally, but leave everything in place, just incase the van ever goes out of rego and you need to get it back into rego ie. moving interstate

The names on the left hand side of the screen are the names of the Cambus box...find your Cambus name it's on the box and click on it. Then on the right hand side are the vehicle names, scroll down to find your vehicle. Click n follow the steps. Ps good luck its doing my head in
Loved the video. Exact same starter as my 93’ Toyota Hiace super custom delux van. I had the exact clicking issue as video. Couldn’t have stumbled across a more helpful video.
