Hey, my name is Bobbie. The older I get the more simple I want my life to be.
I am on a journey to simplify my life but also help you simplify Your's!!!
SIMPLE, MINDFUL BEAUTY As a 56 year old, I'm not ready to look old. I also don't want to look like a 56 year old trying to look like a 26 year old. I want my skincare and makeup to be EASY and SIMPLE, but also to look amazing. I want affordable products, but I am willing to spend where it's absolutely a MUST. I'll show you what works and what doesn't so you don't have to do the work - making YOUR life simpler!
SIMPLE, MINDFUL HOME I am on a journey to declutter and simplify my home! I DON'T want to be a MINIMALIST, but I DO want to be a SIMPLIST 😉! If you want inspiration along with tips on how to get your home simplified - follow along as I do this!
MINDFUL HEALTH I am on a health journey to lose weight - I haven't figured it all out, but I'm trying.
I'm 100% Irish descent. My husband is Irish German but he has Rosea. He is so handsome. He's 64. He looks like he's 50 but the Rosae is bad He gets salicylic acid and some other cream but he still has it. I don't know that it's working that well
I'll be 60 in 3 weeks. Sometimes I look in the mirror and I look at my kids and I can't even believe vz 've all come this far. How did this happen so fast? I was just planning my wedding in 1988. My first baby was born 1994 and then it took me 7 more years but it all still feels like yesterday. My biggest regret having Irish 100% skin not putting sunscreen 100 on every single day of the year. I've had so many procedures done. My sister had melanoma. I've had pre-cancer and just recently had at least 30 things burned off my arms, face chest and shoulders. All I can say to young people is sunscreen, sunscreen, zinc, zinc, zinc don't use spray sunscreen. It doesn't work. Put cream on every inch of your body and stay out of the sun❤
Thanks for doing this. I just love the milani blush in merlot. After my work hrs were cut, I couldn't afford to get my hair cut & grew it out & I'm kinda liking it. I'll have to try the hair products when my retirement benefits kick in. I'm so very grateful for you !
Never heard of mandelic acid, will look into it, thanks, I am 59 with some of the same skin problems as you minus the rosacea. I do want to get laser to get rid of the capillaries on face
Bless you didn't do a great job of applying it U put wayyy to much on to start U are ment to work the product up n don't swipe or use a brush n the colour is good
I always wanted Clinique in my teens (early 1980’s) but absolutely couldn’t afford it. When I was a young adult in my 20’s I tried some of it and liked it. Holy grail was the blush in Clover. They discontinued it after a few years and released New Clover but it wasn’t the same. They do still make that color but oh I wish for the original. Of course it probably would not look the same on my 58 year old face as it did on my 22 year old face 🤷🏻♀️
I always try to buy second hand and repurpose.I am able to afford new but recycling “good stuff” and “ upcycling “ is fun and earth friendlier. When it’s finallty worn out, thats good. I decorate with plants which are healthy, I trafe slips oof plants with friends and neighbours. My home is uniquely me. I buy and and strip real wood stuff. Thrift shops, Garage sales - lots of places to pick and choose and upcycle. Javex Soap bucket and mop. duster. Dont get gagets eitherRepurpose , recycle or bring back to thrift store or give away regularly . Live in the country so only go to town when I have several things to do. Love being at home- my special sancuary. Im so lucky❤️
I loved this video !!! We see so much of what is the newest releases of makeup on RU-vid , but not so much of what everyone loves the best ! Great idea Bobbie !!! Thanks for sharing your absolute must haves in beauty as well as everything else !
I have the Conair mirror & love it ! Very helpful video Bobbie ! Do you still use the Thank Me Later Eye Primer ? I finally got some & it really works well. 🥰
I don't use it anymore only because my skin is drier now so I don't need it. I'm glad it works well for you, I used it for sooo long and it always made such a big difference.
Couldn't find a under eye corrector or concealer. Gonna try your recommendations. The Kokie in peach and firea luxury. It seems we have the same tone. So ty for the info!!
This is a great video. It helps when I need to replenish. Would you tell me how the cosmetic case in the amazon list, works? I heard that when you close it, it dumps one side into the other. Thank you!❤
Hi I love your videos thank you so much, can I request you trying to do a video on a tight budget, for those you can’t afford all this that you shared like Walmart or target at $ 100 max with some cleaning product and makeup drugstore and as few brushes as possible, I could only afford $100 if I lost all my makeup. Thank you ❤
I have what would be considered a very small makeup collection and I have so many of the items you mentioned! I appreciate knowing that I'm honing down on what really works for me. My goal going forward is to use up what I have and not buy anything new until I do that! 🤞
I've never liked a stick foundation. I tried Merit a long time ago and it didn't work for me, but I hear it's good and my skin is better now. Do you have drier skin?
Hi Bobbi, I love how you broke down Immediately and ASAp. lol you have given me a much needed giggles thru your video. I am using Perricone Vit C Gel Cleanser and really liking it. I have such dry, dehydrated eyelids and under eyes, I’m assuming that their Eyeshadow Primer doesn’t dry down dry inhancing all crinkles? I threw away Mac Paint Pod as it’s so drying on my lids. Also going to go to your link and purchase the Koki corrector. This was so much fun. Thank you bunches
The Perricone MD no Makeup Eyeshadow isn't a primer so it's not made to dry down your eyelids. I think that's why it works for me so well. Happy to bring you a giggle Karla! 😂
I'm 60. I use Walmart brand moisturizing facial cleanser, baking soda and water scrub for exfoliator, castor oil on my eye lids, lashes and underneath. Gold bond face cream.
Christians aren't supposed to do Yoga. Yoga is Hindu religion where you worship many gods. If you're Christian don't take it lightly. I'm proud of your weightloss success! Thanks for your insight.
I started watching your weight loss videos but can't find recent videos with updates on how much you lost. Are you still working with the nutritionist and going to the gym?
I went to Ulta in need of advice (I'm 60). Foundation wasn't doing anything for me. A young beautiful girl (clearly a talented make-up artist... though she may not know it yet) suggested Clinique even better foundation. I was not impressed with the recommendation. I bought it because she had spent time with me and I didn't want to say no... I have gotten SO MANY compliments on my beautiful skin using this foundation...Perfect match and does not settle in lines...Thanks Clinique
63 now, and everything is paid for. Fortunately, I had a college economics teacher who taught me a lesson when I was 18 years old. That lesson was: you can't buy something else for every purchase you make. Having multiple sources of income is prudent, as is living within your means. I have a 13-year-old vehicle because it is all I need, I like it, and I can do whatever I want with it. I retired with $985k, and I can pay my bills without stress, but I don't live like I have that. I have no complaints.
Right alongside you. No debt, early retirement. Children are well-cared for. On 11 acres overlooking the river valley, I'm constructing the house of my dreams. There are many methods to get rich right now, but only real-time professionals are capable of making such high-volume, near-perfect trades.
In fact, I had no prior experience or understanding when I began investing in 2020, but by the end of 2023, I had made a profit of almost $850k. All I had been doing was going by what my financial advisor had told me. This demonstrates that all you truly need is a professional to assist you; you don't even need to be a great investor or put in a lot of work.
"Gertrude Margaret Quinto" is the licensed advisor I use. Just research the name. You’d find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment
This is useful information; I copied her whole name and pasted it into my browser; her website appeared immediately, and her qualifications are excellent; thank you for sharing.
My first high end cosmetic purchase was from Clinique . The bonus kits were always a great option to try their products. I remember the cost then was under $20 and the 5 gems in those cute bags 😊 So many products and affordable options now at the drugstore - I don't purchase Clinique anymore. The Chubby stick lipstick - Neutrogena has one similiar the shade I have has a subtle shimmer to it - it is very pretty. Thanks Bobbie for sharing some of the Clinique products. Have a nice day everyone 🌹
I used Clinique years ago. I just think I like L’Oréal foundation just as well & much cheaper. I didn’t like the blush on you as it did separate. Like the lipstick.
