Well, I moved my garden, then injured my back. I had to step back quite a bit, trying to let it heal. The chiropractor is my best friend right now, and I visit him 2X per week. Anyway. I did what I could. I got my pepper transplants planted in my new raised beds on July 30. Waaaay late. But it is all an experiment, right? We will see how everything transpires. I love watching the chickens clean up the garden beds! Fascinating creatures!
I lived in Ga for a while. First time I ate this I fell in love. I know what you mean about how the old timers made it! I am so pleased to see this recipe. A lot of people put all kinds of stuff in it. Can’t wait to have this on my shelf. Thanks 🙏 for sharing. Have a Blessed day. Tx
Well, you could add 'em but, well in my family tree, that is a Virginia style batch. Tastes are personal, right? You be you boo. The BIG key to this one is smoking the meat BEFORE making the stew. Try it sometime. It tastes fantastic!
Add sugar snap peas. You can eat the pods and later the shoots as salad greens. They’re very very tasty and don’t take much space. I’m too zone 7a Virginia 😊
Just beans. They should be fine. We started round two roughly two weeks ago. They are doing fine and will be producing in early september. Just make sure you take care of the water, you know? Been really dry here anyway. They need a lot per 5 foot of row and especially once flowering and producing. Good luck and happy gardening!
I started harvesting the 1st dozen Speckled Roman tomatoes you recommended growing. They are some nice meaty paste tomatoes. Based on what I see so far from them, I should get a nice yield. Your corn looks ready for picking. Hard to get out there to shoot a video when it's hot and humid. lol
I wish I had some figs on my Black Mission bush. For some reason, it doesn't ever produce but my other varieties always do. Man, your backyard looks great buddy. Lots of stuff growing like crazy.
Yes indeed. It is now their time! These are the normal cycle cicadas. We didn;t experience that 17 year thing that was going on last Spring. From what I heard people posting on social media? We hear it every summer just from their normal behavior around here. lol. You get used to it and don't really hear it after a few days. It's just normal here. Thanks for watching! Happy Gardening!
@@tinaladybug8392 baked with a good eye is always safe. Get it half way then add a layer of cheese and a sliced tomato bake a little longer and bam. Tasty!
