Here in Australia all our circuitry is 240V, the big deal is to find a 240v 15Amp outlet which pushes power into the Tesla just a bit faster. I have a 32Amp wall charger mounted in my garage for the daily top up.
As always, thank you for your support. I appreciate it. Also, I want to congratulate you on surpassing your 500th subscriber! You have much to be grateful for. Keep up the good work.
@@eddiev6013 you're absolutely right. That's why I keep my vehicle charged up. From 20% to 80% will take approximately an hour and a half. Thank you for watching the video. Thank you for your comment and please stay tuned.
It’s been two months since you posted this. Have you noticed that the car wash is scratching the car at all I have a new 2024 Tesla three and don’t want to scratch it as it’s the least car.
You’re right, I have been going to this car wash for the last two months. I haven’t noticed any scratches at all. I only get it washed about twice a month. If I were you, I would at least try it one time. Thank you for your comment and thank you for watching the video. Please stay tuned.
Not many TOUCHLESS car washes. Seems like everyone advocates touchless but I think it has become an old wives tale. I have spoken to several managers of very busy/successful car washes that service many teslas with zero complaints. Decide for yourself.
I totally agree with that. Here in the Phoenix, very hard to find a touchless car wash. That's good to know that a lot of Tesla owners are not having problems with a regular car wash. Thank you for your comment. And thank you for watching the video. Please stay tuned.
Thank you for that video. Ilive a little south of you in Maricopa, I'd ordered model Y and was planning on making my first trip over to Disneyland... you answered a few questions for me through your video. Thanks for the help.
Congratulations on your model Y purchase! I’m glad I was able to answer some of your questions about a road trip you’re planning. Enjoy your trip to Disney World. Thank you for watching the video. Please stay tuned.
I love remote climate control in my Tesla, right now out climate is opposite yours with frosty mornings and cold days. The heat pump in my car is absolutely wonderful!
Yes, Winter here, and cold systems coming up from the south and the Antarctic. Mountains nearby with snow on them now. Australia is a land of climatic contrasts. We measure temperatures in Celsius nowadays, but I remember 110F days and hotter at my Grandma’s home in Queensland when I was young.
That’s cool, but I’m not programming everywhere I go I’m too old and lazy And Teamsters don’t shop at scabby Walmart. Except part time ones, cause we can’t get full time hours, not like I’d want to stay there any longer anyways. You know where I mean……..
I don't program everywhere I go, I just used it as an example. I didn't know teamsters don't shop at Walmart. You're right with full-time hours at the shop at Walmart. As usual thanks for watching.
I know, WeMo is awesome! You are correct. I did read where they expanded into North Phoenix and Scottsdale. Thank you for your comment. Thanks for watching the video and please stay tuned.
FSD works pretty good, but not perfect yet. The only advice I would give her now is to make sure the settings are not on "aggressive" mode. Also, make sure the settings is on Also, make sure the settings is on minimal lane change. By doing this, you're right will feel much safer. As usual thank you for your comment and for watching the video."minimal lane change". By doing this, you're right will feel much safer. As usual thank you for your comment and for watching the video.
I loved your video. I drive a Nissan Leaf, and at the time of purchase it was the only Leaf available in the Valley (Phoenix area). Couldn’t afford a Tesla back then. So, my Leaf is only used around town. Low range 🥴. My next EV will be a Tesla. Just watching your journey and seeing all the Tesla charging stations is so reassuring. You know, back in my dad’s era driving was more than just getting from a to b. It’s also about the journey, and an EV will give you that, because charging allows you the time to rest and relax. With a gas car it’s full up and back on the road, and after you get very tired on the road. It should be slow and easy which does allow you to enjoy the journey just like they did years ago going across country on Route 66, for example. Thank you for this video. I really needed to watch this. Now I’m all pumped up to get a long range Tesla. 👍 Oh, I forgot to mention, I subscribed to your channel. I hope to learn a lot about your Tesla.
Thank you for watching the video. And thank you for subscribing to my channel . I do get it, a lot of people may not be able to afford a Tesla. However, I’m glad you have an EV, and on your journey to get a Tesla. I agree, on long journeys it is better to stop relax and then get on the road. Thanks again for subscribing and will see you at the next video.
Major props to the cameraman of all youtubers! 😄 your hardwork is appreciated. And as always- thanks for this wonderful blog. You inspire me to make better contents. Keep em coming!
Yes, give props to the camera people. I usually have my son. On my way. Fill me. They do a great job. Once again, thank you for watching the video. By the way, you're doing pretty well with your videos. You keep them coming as well. Thank you.
Genius move this 30 days free FSD.Who ever uses it, sends data back to Tesla to teach the FSD AI computers. The bigger the database the better the final product.
That's a great point. FSD did get much better within a year. I guess this to your point. Thanks for watching the video. Thank you for your comment. Please stay tuned.
That left scroll bar adjust the max speed.. You went from 45 to 47 max speed. I adjust the right scroll bar and that also works which is the volume control. I go up and down or down and up.
Like you, I love the regenerative braking ability on my Model 3 in Australia. I started using it on the day I picked my car up from Tesla in Sydney, and find I only ever touch the brakes unless an abrupt emergency occurs in front of me. Tesla without doubt offer the absolute best regenerative braking of all EV manufacturers.
You're right, I tried to never use my brakes. Unless it's an emergency. I'm not sure if any other car company has the regenerative braking technology. I might have to do a little research on that. Thank you friend from Australia.
If you realise your dream of travelling to Australia you’re more than welcome to stay over, and get to drive a right hand drive, Shanghai built, Model 3 LR.
Thank you for that information. I always learn from my viewers as well. Thank you for watching the video. Thank you for your comment. Please stay tuned.
@@bayarea4153 Sorry your outlet doesn't work. That's kind of strange, I use mine all the time and no issues. If you haven't already checked the circuit breaker.
Takes me 3 min to put gas on my car. Also, you have NO ownership of that thing. You are being tracked everywhere you go and they can literally turn that shit off on you whenever they want. Its a little toy car for women
I’ll never ever buy a fossil fuelled vehicle again. Service costs, fuel costs and components that wear out and cost a fortune to repair or replace are what you’re committing to when you buy a fossil fuelled vehicle.
I agree with you 100% . In my mind, with all the parts that comes with a gas, powered engine, your vehicle is bound to break down at some point. Expensive to repair to your point.
I bought a tyre repair kit at the same time I bought my Tesla. Our Australian roads, particularly regional/outback roads, can be treacherous to tyres and it’d be madness not to carry one. A good and simple explanation for all Tesla owners to see and learn from. I use a seperate tyre pump I keep in my garage which I can preset to 42.5lbs (which caters to the small loss of pressure when you remove the pump from the tyre valve. Thanks for the video!
Many are very good, all main roads are sealed, but Australia is a vast country with a smaller population, and many remote roads aren’t that well maintained. Main connecting highways are usually excellent.
I returned to Australia after 13 years working in Papua New Guinea, and a further 10 years living and working in the UK. This is a good country to live in and a beautiful place to visit and see.
I honestly would never go to electric, i already have a 2021 fuel cell toyota Mirai. Bought it with only 24miles on the odometer. I've had 0 issues in the 3 years I've owned it.
Congratulations on your new vehicle. Glad you haven’t had any issues that’s great. I know you said you were not buying electric vehicle, but are you concerned with the environment or global warming?
@@padumotivations5287 i somewhat am concerned, but it's gonna take a while for people to really move away from fossil fuels. There needs to be better infrastructure for electric and fuel cell vehicles.
