I’ve used the H5 react the last 2 seasons. Last season I moved it from one bow to another, had it specifically tuned by a professional, and ensured my FPS was meeting the minimum standard for the sight. You will never, ever get it accurate. You can get 20 and 30 as accurate as you want, but with the react technology the further down the sight you go, the more off you will get. My 20 and 30 were spot on, when you get down to 60 it was 6 inches off. I’ve since gotten rid of the H5React.
Seems like a lot of extra money for just helping you sight in. Wouldn't be more beneficial to get a regular 5 pin and shoot all 5 pins in perfect? Set it and forget about it
I don't know if anyone has ever told you this, but you bury the strong pretty hard in your face. Especially with higher letoff percentages, this can make a big difference in consistency with tuning and arrow flight, and ultimately accuracy. I'm all for a good, repeatable anchor point, and I'm not saying you're wrong for doing this. But you might be surprised what a difference it could make to not have the string on your face.
Very breathable, so your not going to get a sweaty back. Has two slate call pockets that hold four slate calls with dividers to keep them from clanking together. A box call pocket has a divider to keep it from squawking as you move through the woods along with a drawstring that cinches down on it. Individual striker pockets for multiple slate call strikers, very thick padded seat, cell phone pocket and two individual mouth call pockets. Very well stitched and really good fabric, materials and zippers. Zippers aren’t those skinny crappy ones that split open after two seasons. They have loops on the zipper tabs that are easy to grab and open with gloves on. Should last 20 years. Several individual internal pockets for crow calls, owl calls etc and bigger internal pockets on both sides for gloves, face masks, bandanas. Fully adjustable for heavy clothing on cold days and then a spacious game bag to put clothes in when it warms up or multiple decoys. Very well thought out. They didn’t skimp on quality. A very good investment in my opinion. And that awesome Mossy Oak Obsession Camo with Spring Green.
Love this video , just being new to archery I need all the tips i can get and videos like this where they get straight to it is great. What bow is that you're using ?
I am by no means an English major. And I honestly understand that this really doesn’t matter. But one of my biggest pet peeves is when people say “heighTH.” I am a machinist and most machinist I know say it too. I think it just comes from dimensional speak when its counterpart is “widTH.” But, for some reason my brain short circuits when I hear heighTH and not heighT. I also never correct anyone in person, because honestly, the only correct response to me would be “you know what the F I’m saying/meant.” Lmao, don’t listen to me.
I got the Tactacam 2.0 so I can’t use this in mine then right ? Plus wondered witch I just heard you say. The solar panel won’t charge this it needs charged at home why you said to have two of these on hand right
They have resigned this Impact Vest. My old one holds two pot calls on the right side. I recently saw a pic of this new only having place for one pot on the right..but my question is does this new format have a twin pot call pocket now on the left side?
Bass pro and Cabela's make a 5 pin Blackout sight with the React technology. It is basically the same sight as the regular TR React 5 for around $50 less
You move your whole sight housing which throws off your peep and sight aliignment which efffects head position then you adjust pins??? Should be once sight and peep arre aliigned just move pins.
Can’t really go wrong with the battery pack. I just gave nearly the same price for 12 aa lithiums. Once you have several baught up it’d be a better option than the aa batteries.
@@huntingadventureswithsy Sorry I misspoke...Sure you can use them both at the same time, but the Tactacam solar panel will not charge the rechargeable Tactacam lithium battery pack. While using both, your camera will run off the solar panel 1st. If the solar panel ever runs out of juice it will revert to running off the lithium battery pack.
This may be a silly question as the react technology is set to yards yet we shoot meters in Australia am I able to set the up for shooting meters rather than yards? This may be a silly question
Brendan, the react technology does not know the difference in yards or meters so it will work as long as your shooting faster than 250 fps. You will need to make sure that you set your top pin and then using the react system.
@raisedoutdoors7295 isn't this react system based off trajectory? If you zero at 30 yards 40 and 50 yard pins move. So that's just following a curve based on the math of trajectory at known distances. If the known distance is measured in yards it would work for yards but be off in meters. 20 yards is something like 18 meters. 30 yards is 25 meters. 40 yards is 36 meters. 50 yards is 45 meters.
