It's just sad watching Grealish these days. He's so boring now, all the exciting parts of his game have been stripped. His imperfection was what made him such a sort-after player. Regarding the transfer fee, I think that is a little bit of a moot point, because it was a release clause and Villa didn't need the money. So, if Man City had offered £60m, even £90m, they simply wouldn't have got him. It turned out to be a blessing for Villa, because that £100m for an academy graduate gave the club acres of room in regards to FFP. So we have never been forced to sell the likes of Douglas Luiz or Ollie Watkins. But I still have that feeling of "imagine how good he would have been if he was still at Villa when Emery took over..." Personally wouldn't want him back now though, I think it would be too hard to undo what Pep has done to him.
The problem is Keane is right, Haalands general play is terrible this season the stats don’t lie, but the other side of that coin does his general play need to be that good when your job is too score goals at man city where every other player in that team of superstars is doing your general play for you, now don’t get me wrong the drop in his general play might not matter to man city, but it would be very worrying for any other team in the world, if that had happened when he played at Dortmund it would have devastating to the team and would he be at man city now if it did play like that dortmund
No one will buy Antony. We all know whats going to happen. He's going on a loan and Man Utd will cover 90% of his wages. Its the mother of all bad deals.
Have you looked at his statistics for the 2023/2024 season? I would say that the quality of his link up play is self evident from the number of times he touches the ball and the number of successful passes he completes on average each game. Granted he is my favourite striker I have seen since R9 and City don't play to his strengths as despite the brilliance of players like Foden and De Bruyne, they never seem to spot his runs in behind the opposition defenses. However, given that he only averages 10 successful passes per game and has on occasions had less than 10 touches in an entire match, it would appear that his team mates are hesitant in passing to him at all unless he is in a position to get a shot off at goal. Obviously given his unbelievable talent, this is something that he can massively improve; but, while it may sound harsh, I would agree with Keane's analysis that his link up play is at a league 2 level - however; I don't see this as Keane's hatred of this Dad, i would see this as constructive criticism to try and help the lad get even better than he already is.
If Roy Keane believes Haland is at League 2 level then Man City surely would be better than his United team considering they play with one league 2 player.
I think the video misses out important aspects, in that Man Utd are recognised as being the biggest club also because of their history before Ferguson - I mean the Munich Air Disaster for one brought about worldwide sympathy for the club and the busby babes and George Best were the most famous of that era also, so it is the complete history and Liverpool are definately second place because of their European success. Just to give you an idea, even though Man Utd have had hardly any success since the Glazers took over and sucked the club dry, they are still the most followed and talked about club in England. Even when Man City are winning everything people are more interested in the bad things that are happening at Man Utd and the media talk more about Man Utd even whem they are playing crap, we all know this is true like it or not.
I’m a Chelsea fan and your analysis is on point . We finished 6th which is a bonus for us getting some sort of European football . You got it spot on !
Maybe Roy didn't become the greatest manager. But he was one of the greatest player of all time. His passion and loyalty is greatly missing today. I didn't realise how good Roy was until I compared him to todays players and I would have 12 Roy Keane's any day!
What he means is , in League 2, you cant rely on your 10 men to make 11. Man City have such a strong team they could lose 2 players, 9 on the pitch, and still finish top 6. Hence they can afford some goofy guy upfront to tap sitters in
Keane is the kind of pundit who thinks he has to make contentious statements to fit his hard man image. Same on the field: "I'm an Irish hardman, so fekkin watch out". Dickhead!
Honestly as humans, we forget so fast and we're too quick to judgements. For me personally, Darwin is a very talented and huge player for us. So, HE SHOULD STAY.
Haaland is killing his haters by his performance. His beloved Manchester united has no one scoring half of what Haaland can master. It's nothing but hate
3:54 Boo hoo, cry about it. Banter should be allowed, it doesn’t matter if it’s about someone race, gender or how they look. It’s all fair game since we’re adults and not bunch of children who get their feelings hurt by so called "mean" words. I’m sick and tired of this PC culture.
You're fine about discussing incidents where he was biting players in an attempt to cause serious bodily harm but Suarez saying some mean words to another player is too far? Get a grip
This is such a bs video 😂. Its like some womans gossip page. And banging on about the Haaland incident is mute as haaland not only continued in that match he continued his career and needed an op on his other knee. Not the one keano kicked.
