I bought one of these, cleaned it well, put it away… next time I used it it wouldn’t work at all. Just sprays air. Took it completely apart again cleaned every little piece I could replaced what I could, still doesn’t work … Seriously such a waste of money .
Hello the W125 sprayer is specifically designed for use with standard water-based and solvent-based paints, including lacquers, varnishes, stains, and wood preservatives. While I am not familiar with the specific properties of Tung Oil, if the manufacturer indicates that it is suitable for spraying and can be diluted to the appropriate viscosity, it may be possible to use it with this sprayer. However, it is advisable to confirm directly with the manufacturer of the Tung Oil to ensure it is compatible. Kind Regards Wagner DIY
Hello, spraying a real room does require thorough preparation, including protecting and masking all surfaces that shouldn't be painted. While this can take some time, the efficiency of a sprayer often outweighs the initial setup and masking. Spraying provides faster, more even coverage compared to traditional methods like brushes or rollers, especially for large areas. Additionally, modern sprayers are easy clean typically taking 10-15 minutes about the same a cleaning a brush, roller and tray. Kind Regards Wagner DIY.
Hello yes the performance is very similar here is a comparison between the two sprayer www.wagner-group.com/uk/do-it-yourself/products-and-accessories/product-comparison/?redirected=true&tx_wproducts_product_list%5Bproducts%5D=265080020%2C5829%2C&cHash=186aee28af16ea32025640f01065cafe Kind Regards Wagner DIY
Hello, if it is water-based wood and metal paint, first pour any leftover paint back into the original container. Then fill the sprayer with clean water and spray until it runs clear. Disassemble the sprayer, clean the parts with warm soapy water, and use a soft brush to remove any residue. Let the parts dry before reassembling. If using solvent-based paint, follow the cleaning instructions on the paint tin for the appropriate solvent to clean and do the same procedure as above. Kind Regards Wagner DIY.
Hello John Thank you for your feedback. In fact, when used properly, the Wagner Fence & Decking Sprayer can be more efficient with paint compared to a brush. The sprayer applies thin, even layers directly to the surface, ensuring consistent coverage across the entire area, whereas with a brush, you often apply extra paint in one spot and then drag it across the surface, which can lead to uneven application and the need for more product. To minimise waste, it's important to maintain a consistent distance from the surface and avoid rotating your wrist, which can cause paint to spray into the atmosphere rather than onto your target. Proper technique, ensures better control and more efficient use of the material. Kind Regards Wagner DIY
With the Wagner W100 paint sprayer you can use most wood and metal paints. It can be used with water-based and solvent-based paints just check to tin to see if the paint is suitable for spray application..
We have a w690 flexio and it isnt pulling the paint through just blows air when the trigger is depressed. Any ideas why? Been thoroughly cleaned everywhere and all parts checked and are fine
Hello, If your W690 Flexio is blowing air but not pulling paint, check that the feed tube is pointing in the correct direction for your spraying angle. The feed tube should point forwards if you are spraying down or straight ahead, and backwards if spraying above. Ensure the paint is properly thinned according to the manufacturer's guidelines, as thick paint can prevent proper flow. Inspect the nozzle and needle for damage or blockages, and make sure the union nut is tightened. Even if you've cleaned the sprayer, strain the paint to remove any particles that might block the system. If the issue persists, contact customer service for further assistance at FMB_GBSI_Technical-Support@wagner-group.com or call +44 1327 368410. Kind Regards Wagner DIY
That all depends on the paint type, surface, colour change to name but a few of the factors. When using a sprayer, you generally use around 10% less paint compared to a brush or roller. This is because a sprayer applies a thinner, more even coat of paint, covering the surface efficiently without excess buildup. The high atomization of the paint in a sprayer ensures better coverage with less material, while brushes and rollers often result in uneven layers and excess paint usage due to their direct contact with the surface. Kind Regards Wagner DIY
Hello With this machine you just have material flow to adjust, starting with a lower setting and increasing gradually for a smooth coverage. The W510 features HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) technology, which reduces overspray and provides better control. If you want more controls the W590 has adjustable settings for both air and material flow, giving you better control over the paint application. This versatility makes the W590 suitable for a wider range of projects, including wood, metal, and interior walls. Kind Regards Wagner DIY
I congratulate you gentlemen, it is a great idea. but I would add working with enamel paints, since the solvents are strong. I wish you much success, your products are very good. 👏👏
Thank you, the Wagner Control Pro 300 Move can work with enamel paints. This sprayer is designed for both thick and thin, water and solvent based paints. Kind Regards Wagner DIY
Hello, if it's just dried paint, you can remove it using the small pointed end of the paint stirrer supplied with the product. For a thorough cleaning, first detach the spray attachment and unscrew the union nut to remove the nozzle. Rinse with warm water for water-based paints or the appropriate solvent for oil-based paints. Gently scrub the nozzle openings with a cleaning brush to remove any remaining residue. Once cleaned and dried, reassemble the parts. To prevent clogs, always clean the sprayer immediately after use before storage. Kind Regards Wagner DIY
Just got one today and read through the manual, yes, I’m a girl, I know men don’t bother with such things 😂. The manual says to pull the ventilating hose from the top of the gun, unscrew the valve cover, remove the diaphragm and clean all those bits but that’s not mentioned in this video? Anyone else bother to do that?
Hello you would only need to do this if you are having problems spraying, in this video it explains about it: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kIuN4TQwHGU.htmlsi=KkL_ANXSwPqrb9rH&t=340 I hope that helps and thanks for reading the manual 😊 Kind Regards Wagner DIY.
Hello Neil, you can use masking tape and sheets to cover the posts, or remove the fence panels from the posts, paint them separately, and then reattach them once they are dry. These methods help keep your concrete posts clean during the painting process. Kind Regards Wagner DIY
I have a Wagner but I find that when in use the air in the room becomes saturated with micro-droplets of paint so windows and doors also need to be masked. Do you have any tips on how to avoid this from happening?
Hello Frank, to stop overspray with an airless sprayer, maintain a consistent distance of about 30 cm (12 inches) from the surface and keep the gun parallel to the surface. Reduce the spray pressure to the lowest effective setting and use the correct spray tip for the job. Avoid flexing your wrist at the end of each pass, as this can direct the spray into the atmosphere. Practicing on scrap cardboard before starting the actual project can also help you fine-tune your technique. I hope that helps. Kind Regards Wagner DIY

Hello unfortunately not, the Fence and Decking sprayer is designed for standard solvent or water-based fence paint, oil stain, varnish, wood preservatives, and treatments. For emulsion paint, you would need a Universal sprayer like the W590 Flexio, which is suitable for wood, metal, wall, and ceiling paints. Kind Regards Wagner DIY
Hello Yes, you can spray paint onto new plaster. It is recommended to apply a mist coat first, which is a diluted emulsion paint that acts as a primer. This helps the paint adhere better to the plaster. Make sure the plaster is completely dry before you start spraying. Kind Regards Wagner DIY
Hello You may need to dilute paint or stain if it is too thick for your sprayer, resulting in poor atomization or clogging. With experience you will know when it is correct or not. Start by testing the material without dilution. If the spray pattern is uneven or the sprayer is struggling, dilute in 5% increments using water for water-based paints or the appropriate thinner for oil-based paints. Stir well and test again until you achieve a smooth, consistent spray pattern. Kind Regards Wagner DIY
Hello painting UPVC windows and doors is a specialist job usually done by professionals. The WAGNER 150 or 250 sprayers are not recommended for this task as they paints used are 2-pack (2K) paint, which consists of a base paint and a hardener these could damage the machine. Kind Regards Wagner DIY
I have The Fence and Decking Sprayer, which I bought locally last year. I was very happy with the way it works. However while it was stored over the winter part of the nozzle was misplaced. I have attempted to buy a replacement at all the local suppliers. I have phoned and left messages as well as emails to order the parts from you but not received any reply. The spray is still offered for sale but extremely expensive if I can not replace the missing part.
Hello Barbara via this website www.paintsprayer.co.uk/sprayers-consumer there a replacement parts, accessories and additional attachments, I hope that helps. King Regards Wagner DIY

Whats the best thing to use to sand my summerhouse. The back of it is particularly bad. Peeling paint all over. But the wood slates are slightly angled.
Very informative video. Thank you! Could’ve done without the music though. Would’ve heard you better without it, and it was also distracting. Had to really concentrate on hearing what you were saying.
Hello to prevent stain or paint from getting on the concrete when using the Wagner Fence and Decking sprayer if it is an option you remove the fence panels from the posts and spray separately or you can cover the posts with masking tape or use carboard as a shield. Kind Regards Wagner DIY
