My partner and I booked with spaceship rentals and we are beginning our trip in 1.5 weeks! I am a bit taller than you I think so let's see how that goes..., but we are very excited! We got the "S2 Spacious", I'm curious if you got that one as well, might end up being tight, but we are on a budget so bigger was not possible. Thanks for the video!

Hi, I am the guy from MiFujien EP. I booked the room on Hotel New Century instead. And another night , I plan to booked at Fuji Q highland and still need to decide which type of room we choose book. And then I found your video again. And you did not see Mt.Fuji because the weather again in this video T - T.
Hey there! Thanks for the question! Breakfast buffet was decent! Not the best but I think slightly above average or average imo. Swimming pool wise, we were there when it was just opened, so definitely clean. (Meaning not alot of people has peed inside, lol jokes) But yea, im not too sure now but im pretty sure they have some level of maintenance judging from the size of the whole hotel!
Lance, although 3 out of the 5 hotels are on my 'Dream Staycays' list (Raffles Hotel, MBS and Sentosa hotels such as Capella), I totally agree with your list! With MBS being the backdrop of views, I am sure other hotels such as Fullerton Bay Hotel and Fairmont will have way better views with MBS in sight :D
Indeed! We would love to stay in these hotels as well but if we dont have 2k laying around doing nothing, we would definitely wanna stay in these hotels! haha Yes, Fullerton Bay has one of the best views of MBS!
I would love to see a review of Raffles Hotel on your channel! Yes, it's expensive but there is a reason it continues to show up in the list of top hotels of the world ...
It is an all suite hotel, with a world famous cocktail, the breakfast in Tiffin Room, those great square meals served on tiffin boxes, and other memorable traditions. I can only say the only time the Raffles Hotel in our lifetime was near affordable was when Covid struck.
We actually did a hotel review before! It was actually our 2nd hotel review hahaa. Location wise definitely good, but cant say for the service since its been awhile! But room facing towards the city-ish views are definitely much better!
Seconding your take on MBS lol. My cousin and I stayed in a low level room for around SGD 350 for 1 night back in 2019 - dunno how much it costs now lol. It was great to have a nice view of Gardens by the Bay 😂 and to be able to go up to the pool / observation deck, but it’s not an experience I would be keen to repeat unless for a really special occasion - and even then, I can think of at least a couple other hotels I would book instead.
Momentus Hotel Alexandra. You wouldn't want to stay there either even if it's within your budget. Great staff, great executive club lounge, great dining options inside and outside the hotel, but the small-ish and stuffy rooms (from air conditioning that stops working in the middle of the night, more pertinent for those who like cooler rooms) are not pleasant to deal with.
Hey! Yea, there are slots under the bed, but from the looks of it, you can only put cabin baggage's or the medium-sized ones, not sure if the L or the XL ones can fit.
Any tips on how to get a great discount for a 5 star hotel in Singapore with complimentary buffet breakfast, executive lounge access and complimentary cocktails every day?
Wow that's quite exact hahaha, we aren't too sure about those exact filters, apart from double-date sales (9.9, 10.10, 11.11), you can generally check trip.com. (from our experience, gives the "cheapest" rates among all the other platforms) Hope this helps!
Hey man! Will take that into consideration! TBH not so sure as we never really seen (online i mean), and talk much about it! But its by Park Royal, the Pan Pacific group, and if you watched our latest video, we do not really have good experiences with Pan Pac hotels.. hahaha
I am heading to this hotel in October. Are there other places nearby to eat breakfast and dinner at a decent price. We like more traditional western food. Also would you know the best way to reach hotel from Airport(Chigni) Thanks
Hey there! Mondrian is located within the conserved shophouses of Singapore and its typically filled with many good restaurant (though expensive). Alternatively, if you like hawker food (known in Singapore) you can either go to Maxwell Food Centre (Quite touristy imo) or Chinatown Complex!
Hey! Top 3 hotels in Singapore with no budget? haha 1. Fullerton Bay 2. Capitol Kempinski 3. Ritz Carlton But if you want to know about budget budget hotels, one of our latest video did show the top 10! haha, hope this helps!
Hey! Either is fine tbh, but if you are getting just one room, might be a little to small in my opinion! But Hotel V Lavender might be a better option in terms of location since your kiddos dont need to walk so far from the train station. haha Hope this helps!
Hi Lance, in one of your prev video if I am not mistaken you mentioned Yotel is connected to Orchard MRT via cover pathway and take less than 10mins walk? Google Map shows at 14mins walk 🫠 Would like to confirm as I am considering staying there or Quincy or Vibe this Dec. Thanks!
Hey there! Yes, 10 minutes underground because Google maps doesnt show us the route underground, it actually shows us the direction above ground which takes a rather big round because the cross junction directly outside the hotel doesnt have a traffic crossing. (Only can cross underground) As for the underground, you will have to cut through Orchard Ion and Wheellock Place to get to it! In terms of Quincy or Vibe, location wise is just side by side but the room wise, we cannot really say because we have not stayed before! So sorry about that! But just take note there is a slightly hill upwards towards the hotel, might be abit tiring hahaha
indeed! We stayed before it was renovated and it was our very first hotel review video as well haha. But have not yet stay after its renovation, but hopefully soon!
Watched all your vids and love em for an upcoming staycation in sg. I have one question, are there plans for a ritz carlton millenia video? Have heard many good things. If not, what are your opinions? Ritz or fullerton bay (both bay view rooms), which is better?
Hey man! haha would love to stay at Ritz Carlton but its kinda super expensive at the moment for us. haha But it is indeed a 5 star luxury hotel with the iconic bath tub by the window! We have not stayed at Ritz Carlton yet but having stayed at Fullerton Bay, I can definitely say that the view is awesome! Its directly infront of Marina Bay Sands so you practically get an unblock view but its basically on "level 1" where as if you stay at Ritz Carlton, you are definitely higher but at the side of Marina Bay Sands, but do have a better view of the cityscape (which in fullerton bay, no city view since its behind the hotel). Hope this helps man! Would love to review Ritz too but its way too expensive for us haha
Hi Lance and Rose! Thanks for this, lots of new options to look into for future solo trips! Maybe you can also do a summary review of entry level rooms that have bathtubs? You might have also noticed but it’s kinda hard to find them unless in club rooms or more upscale options.
Hey there! No problem! Glad it helps you out for your trips here haha. Wow okay interesting! Rose will definitely be keen since her love for bathtubs are strong hahaha We will dig in and find out!
