I had stage 4 at 20. Have had 3 laparoscopic pelvic surgeries. First at 11.5, 20 and then 21. Been peri-menopausal since I was 16 and I just turned 39.
What I don’t understand as a black woman is why?? We don’t live in a black only America or even world . They have worked hard to have stores. How would we feel if black owned businesses were boycotted because they were in a white neighborhood or if the products we sold were not deemed black. We need to worry about our own businesses and stop hating on others because it’s ugly . It’s racist and it’s not helping us as black people. They worked hard to corner the market. And learn the definition of Racism for god sakes. Where does it say black people cant be racist that is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Nothing has kept us from supporting black owned but US.
what I dont understand is why a BLACK WOMAN is struggling to comprehend Asian beauty supply stores steal from black women, keep us out of our own hair industry, monopolize the industry so we can take profit off it and getting rich off us. Black Owned businesses cater to Black people because we experience discrimination from other businesses… how do you explain Asian people selling ONLY black products in our neighborhoods? Second of all, I would love to encourage to think of other options as far as women's reproductive health rights are concerned. I believe the Judgment of God is on the land as a result of infanticide. You are incredibly young and appear to be very bright. We are now in the passover season. And though most won't take the word of God seriously, the same plagues that befell ancient day Egypt, are the same plagues that will befall this country if we choose to ignore God's voice. I will lift you up in prayer that God will heal you but that he will also show you the pain caused, not only for the unborn child, but even for the mothers themselves ... btw... Once I saw the gworls pushing people to wigs (contacted 5 "stylists" who listed sewins as services, but kept saying wig install...nope) I was done. I'm in a VERY big metro area and was shocked at the atrocious attitudes and pricing. The only time I went to a stylist for a wig was because she was doing other services after I cut my dreads off (washing, trimming my ends, etc), then she started doing traditional sew ins on me once my hair was long enough. These ladies are not building a legacy and I want to support our folks, but they are robbing us. So sad. to add: the DMs last at night? I work at night and will get done what I can as I try to be up most of the night even on my days off. Calling me during the day is beyond inconvenient and disturbing me. just set your phone to DND and only have certain numbers go through, like all phones do that now. Ive seen that from several people and immediate blocked em. Not dealing with your foolishness.

The last stylist I went to fired up a blunt, and her kids 4 and 6 were using profanity like a sailor. She thought I was going to let her do my hair while smoking a blunt.

An MRI revealed endometriosis all over my bladder, bowel and abdomen. Diagnosis is typically only through surgery but mine was so extreme MRI confirmed it

I had stage 4 endo with PCOS and fibroids. I FINALLY got them to take me seriously only when they suspected cancer. 3 years since my hysto and I’m so happy!
I would check out Royal T Hair Lounge if you're from the DMV. It's a cute little salon that specializes in natural hair. It's a bit pricey, but you really do get what you pay for. Terri is really sweet and very professional. She would never do anything that is not healthy for your hair and scalp. And yes; she does wash and blow dry hair! The best part is that she teaches you how to care for your own hair in between visits.
It's the consumers fault....yall act like yall are so desperate. I wish I would pay $200 or higher to go get my hair done in somebody's kitchen, bathroom or bedroom. I will do my own hair ehich I do, so I'm good.

I'm so glad I do my own hair and nail. I learned about hair when I was little, and I have been wearing press on nails for over 10yrs. It's easier and cost effective.
