Hello youtubers my name is Gilbert and my channel is dedicated mainly to my HO scale model railroad layout. My channel is focused on running of trains. I dont have a set railroad theme I just go with what I like and let my imagination take care of the rest. I enjoy receiving any feedback and answering any questions you may have. Throughout the years as you will see in my videos my layouts have changed alot. My good friend and fellow modeler told me one day that my current layout should be it for me. I tend to agree because I'm not getting any younger. So, I've started concentrating on lighting and scenery. I enjoy that part of the hobby alot. I hope you enjoy the videos as I continue my work. Thank you all in advance for your support and subscription to my channel.
Ho scale layout with mixed cars and loads. No philosophy. However, on my layout i have a large refinery and grain elevator as well as a farm scene. Where cars, loads and tanks are being delivered.
Felicitaciones desde México un ferrocarril muy bien hecho y muy bien ambientado , podrían hacer el vídeo más largo , me hubiera gustado ver cómo funciona ya con los otros vagones enganchados
@@gil6114 Cotton behind a clear plastic sheet/with an old chocolate candy (thin) aluminum foil sheet,,,twisted till shaped into "Angel". Top of falls (coming out of tunnel/tube) was flow on right to match up with "Angel". With "Serpent" shaped by lucky co-incidence. Three times trying to get right. After that It could be redone easily. (I've messed it up more than once.)
@@gil6114 Clear Elmers glue and cotton pillow filling. I pulled strips of cotton on to a flat plastic and applied glue to saturate it. And used a acrylic paint/blue to color the stream and poured into prepared depression, Wa La'!
If I run a heavier longer load then yes. If your loco is heavy that helps a lot going up the steepest climb. On really long loads I'll do a consist of 2 or 3 engines. Thanks for watching!
awesome layout....love the incline, and the Union Pacific locomotive looks fantastic...im such a big fan of trains...once my layout is done im gonna post vids and i'd like u to see them
Out of Albertville, Al. south on 75...one block after it turns into a two lane, left on dead-end street to house before last on right. @ garage. It has only been seen by about 40 people in the last eight years.
Welcome to RU-vid Ho scale. Iam Anthony and I'm new to the hobby and your layout is coming along nicely. I have started my CSX Pere Marquette Subdivision from Watervliet, Michigan to Saint Joseph, Michigan and trying to figure it out as well. Happy Railroading #keepheronthetracks
