Kassel, a true Karoo native, grew up on a family farm near Phillipstown in the Northern Cape, fostering a deep-rooted connection to farming. After completing his education at Grey College in Bloemfontein and briefly studying B-Econ, he returned to farm life before embarking on international adventures. Working on a pig farm in Nebraska broadened his horizons before he returned to the Karoo, where he found love and settled down with Helene on a farm near Putsonderwater, raising Dorpers since 1996. Joining Agrisell in 2019 was a natural progression, blending his farming background with his new career as a property agent. Kassel's expertise lies in livestock farms and irrigation. His advice to sellers emphasizes thorough due diligence, while for buyers, he advocates for a connection between them and the property. In his spare time, Kassel enjoys golf and supporting his daughters in hockey, and, of course, keeping up with the trends.
