I'm just average dude who likes cool new gadgets. This channel is just a way to showcase some of my items, main focus will be on EDC items watches, knives, tools, wallets. I'm not an expert so my opinion is worth what you paid for it. Would love to try out and test new items, please reach out if you have anything you'd want me to test/review.
I have the Instinct 2. I come from a Samsung Smartwatch. What I love about it is that it looks simple, like Casio. The look is simple but has a lot of power under the hood.
@@RandoRaf Thanks for the quick reply. I have both the Instinct and Tactix Delta. I like them both. But, prefer the Mudman. Just can’t wear two watches. That would be ideal. As, I like all the tracking and maps on my wrist with the Garmin. I have too many watches. Thanks for your input. Michael
Have you tried Black letters and numbers on white background for the fenix? So inverting the display to a brighter one? I have the instinct 2x but saving for the 47mm mid sized Fenix 7 pro, the instinct is good but the size bothers me a bit such a big case the have ether make the screen even bigger or the outer diameter of the case smaller. I like the modern casual look of the fenix fits in every life situation, the instinct looks either bit childish or too military outdoor if you wearing it every day also to office in a city etc
I use these tweezer set which has worked very well for the price amzn.to/3Mlhl4b. Tiny screw drivers you need to though invest good ones that wont bend amzn.to/3XlzAN4 if these are to much you can try some cheap ones but just know you may only get few uses out before they strip or bend. Thats it for Casio modding.
I've had a Instinct 2X tactical for several months now. Absolute beast of a watch, zero regrets and I couldn't be happier with it. It's also smaller than you think, I'm easily rocking it on my 7.5" wrist.
I purchased the Garmin fenix 7x pro sapphire solar back in December and have had no issues with the screen legibility. The only problem i had was the band length. My wrist size is 9 and a half inches, so i had to buy another to fit comfortably. If the shop i went to had the Instinct 2X tactical solar, i would have brought that instead just because it looks like it could take a beating. Awesome video mate
I ordered the Instinct2 a few days ago from a local retailer. It's available tomorrow for $350 AUD. Your comprehensive review certainly eased my mind and confirmed my choice and its reasons. Thanks a shipload.
I just this week got this watch . Absolutely love it . The green dial is amazing 🤩. The case is so sleek and elegant but at the same time is rugged and tough with great wrist presence.
Watching your video again and thought I’d let you know I was blessed enough to finally acquire my grail . Just last week received my SLA047J1 limited edition MM300 . It’s such an amazing 🤩 watch and to me nothing compares.
Great comparison. I just bought the Finex because of the display and look of it, but its very uncomfortable for me. I haven’t been able to sleep with it till now 😅
Hola buenas noches...me gusta mucho tu reseña del seiko, aprovecho para consultarte, adonde puedo comprar los push button de este modelo? Se me dañaron y me gustaría reemplazarlo pero no encuentro adonde comprarlo....
It’s simple Casio knows that they can cultivate multiple fanboys they saw you guys coming. So why not just tell you that it’s tough and then make about 6000 different renditions of it. sounds like a good plan to make money to me.
i let it soak for about 30min. With this model its a little trick because there are 2 piece of plastic sandwhiched together so i had to push out air bubbles and resoak again. with a non solar model shouldn't have that issue.
it will track HR but thats about it. If you want something more focus on weight training alot of the good ones have gone under. Beast Sensor is your best bet thats still being supported. It will count your reps and measure your power.
Even going from a forerunner 955 The screen was just worse to read . I’m not sure what happened. I like many here have resorted to having the gesture to make the light come on
I own the pepsi version and there's A lot to like. Especially its unusual divewatch design. It's rare and it stands out. However, I have a massive issue with the movement. It's more or less accurate But it accelerates wildly when I walk. Roughly twelve seconds fast per day If I keep it on a desk. But when I walk, it goes three seconds fast per hour. I opened the case back and regulated the movement. It became even more accurate. Now, roughly 3 to 4 seconds fast per day. But as usual, when I walk, it Goes three seconds fast per hour of walk. I'm not sure if it's because it's overwound or what. It's very frustrating and i'm worried about this movement. I'm worried there might be a defect or something. I own three seikos and six orients in addition to a mido and a certina. And yet, I have never encountered such a behavior from any mechanical movement. Have you had such experience?
I see these for sale in Thailand all the time. I purchased a Sanda 6014 for a beat around watch. We'll done video. The SKMEI 1628 looks better of the 2 in the video with better features.
oh noooo. How did this with your Oceanus happend? did it fell on the ground? Send it over to Casio service center for a repair. I did this with my OCW-S100 and the changed the whole Module, the crown and the gasket for 140 dollars or so, 2 years ago. The only problem was, they needed almost two months to sent it to me repaired. Other than that, very good job.👍
My dilemma is between the instinct 2 and the fenix 6. The instinct 2 looks perfect for me and its cheaper but my only problem with it is that you cant download music to the watch and listen without your phone… Any recommendations?
I have this and also a Garmin Instinct 2. Both are amazing. Neither are perfect, but no watch is perfect for all purposes. The Garmin doesn't appear tough, but its case is glass-fibre reinforced polymer and mine hasn't even picked up any scratches after a year of use. The crystal of my Garmin got a small scratch in the first week, but no more since. I wish it was sapphire, like that of the Mudman. The stiff resin strap of the Mudman is nowhere near as comfortable as that of the silicone strap of the Garmin. I am already looking at strap replacement options for the Mudman after one day of ownership. Oh, and the Garmin is half the weight if the Mudman, at about 58g. The Mudman is a few grams lighter than my modded Seiko on an Isofrane strap, so is not too heavy.
will not the oil in years to come change its property (aging, heating in summer cooling in winter etc.) and turn from fully translucent to milky or at least less transparent?
Ya years down road it can start to degrade, but eventually battery will need to replaced too. Its messy but would be easy to just replace oil. Silcone oil would be better to use probably more stable then mineral.
