As a catholic Christian y’all are crazy for this 😂 but goddamn It’s actually an entertaining idea, in my opinion Elijah and Moses are clearly country level 🤷♂️
Well..the Angel of the lord that wrestle with Jacob, is acutally God himself, Jesus to be more precise, was just a test, he make Jacob limp just by touching the leg after, showing his power, God wrestle Jacob like a father wrestle his child. Nice video I enjoyed I like power system and this title got my eyes attention hahaahha
Technically the "Angel of the Lord" in the Old Testament that Jacob was wrestling is commonly understood to be Jesus. Especially cause immediately after that Jacob said "I have seen God face to face and i have lived"
That's symbolic. Hosea 12:4 makes it clear that Jacob wrestled an angel and not God Himself. This is clear from the fact that it is stated that the angel who Jacob wrestled with straight-up COULDN'T overpower Jacob. If this was Jesus, Jesus would easily have the ability to overpower Jacob. Jacob overpowering an angel is still super OP though. I think he got downplayed in this list tbh.
@@yekkub9425 Pretty common misunderstanding lol, if you read Hosea 12:3 it actually reaffirms what I said. The "Angel of the Lord" was God. When I was younger I used to wrestle my Dad all the time and he would let me "win". Doesn't mean I could actually beat my Dad. Its also clear from the passage that Jacob knew the "Angel of the Lord" could have killed him at any time. Hence why he said right after “I have seen God face to face, and yet my life has been spared.” As for Jesus beating him in a fight, Jesus could also have snapped all the people crucifying him out of existence. He's God, he can tussle with a human if he wants to.
@@amara7734 The problem is that if you look at the original text of the passage, both in Hebrew (Masoretic Texts) and Greek (Septuagint), it uses a word that indicates that the Angel of the Lord straight-up didn't have the ability to overpower Jacob. In the Greek it's "οὐ δύναται." In the Hebrew it's "לֹ֤איָכֹל֙." Clearly this wasn't Jesus Himself, as Jesus had the ability to overpower those who crucified Him at any time, even if He chose not to. The Angel of the Lord on the other hand wasn't just holding back, he straight up didn't have the ability to beat Jacob. This is in line with Gabriel stalemating a demon and needing Michael to intervene. Angels of God are extremely powerful, but even imperfect beings can in fact reach their power.
@@yekkub9425 I have been looking through the Bible Hub interlinear website for like an hour now and i simply can't find any evidence for what you said. The verb used in the passage is וַיֻּכָ֔ל, way·yu·ḵāl. The extra וַ (wa) at the end just denotes "and". This is the only occurrence of this word in the interlinear but the root word is יָכֹל, yakol, means to be able, to have power, to be allowed to, to endure, to overcome, and so on. You seem to be taking it as a negative (so to be UNable, to NOT have power, to NOT be allowed to and so on) and applying it to the "Angel of the Lord" instead of to Jacob. This is wrong because the referent of the verb used is Jacob, not the Angel. It is referring to what Jacob could do and not to what the Angel could not. Plus, the entire thing is a typology for the nation of Israel's continuous struggle with God, so it makes sense that the Angel of the Lord is Identified as God over and over. That is literally the meaning of Israel, and the entire point of his name change, and a foreshadowing of the two thousand years of "struggling with God" that would ensue. Either that is the misunderstanding here or I'm completely misrepresenting the text, in which case please correct me. In any case, God bless.
Joshua has to go in Demi-Divine, bro told the Sun and Moon to stand still mid battle and kept them suspended in place for 24 hours until they won that battle And a lot of the Israelite soldiers from Moses and Joshua’s time up to David’s time could get Superhuman as they were fighting Nephilem and Giants etc. With some notable ones being David’s mighty men, they legit were soloing hundreds of troops, small armies, and superhuman soldiers. They were an interesting read
Something you forgot to mention about Elijah is his insane speed (he probably has the fastest human speed feat in the Bible). He was able to outrun Ahab’s chariot on foot with God’s blessing even after giving him a head start
@@gummytortle-io1jq Jesus and God the Father has the same Nature, the nature of God is what make God, God, it´s difficult to grasp how this is possible but God would be a being that we couldn´t understand completely, and is unique, Jesus, God Father and the Holy Spirit, share the same Nature, but they are 3 different "persons", persons here is not used like in human being persons, it is just to signify a concience that has awereness of themself, although they has the same will, because they are one God, YHWH.
@@gummytortle-io1jqit might not be accurate but imagine Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit to be something like a Rose, Tulip, and a Chicory. All of them are flowers, and you can call them collectively as "flowers" and they are conceptually all flowers, but all are their own unique instances.
It’s funny because I was just thinking about how powerful the angels actually were. Especially the Archangels. When I heard how St. Michael beat the breaks off of Satan, TWICE, he instantly became my favorite angel. However, I’m also wondering how strong Satan has to be to get bitchslapped out of heaven, fall to the ground at the speed of a lightning bolt, turn into a dragon and fly back up.
@0:30 hold up, wait a minute, you have jesus in this ranking?! that is straight up unfair, he is basically just god 2.0 anything god can do so can he. i get it he's a human too, but he should be in the "god's tier list" not "the humans" the dude made it rain fish and revived from the dead. its no contest at that point.
All of the first men on down to Noah had a closer connection to God and had exponentially longer life spans. Multiple hundreds of years. Id say that's some hax.
I’m so glad somebody did this because I don’t know how to power scale the Bible because of how OP some characters really are because heaven exist outside of space time. I feel like everybody can understand that it’s untouched by time and it’s a completely different.realm so you really couldn’t power scale anything that exist there because what can’t they do? They exist outside of space time they’re seemingly unaffected by everything so how would you really power scale so I’m glad that you just trimmed out everything that wasn’t human that really made this a lot easier to understand.
Glad it was easy for you to understand! From the research I did, upon looking over alot of stuff it's very hard to powerscale outside of the humans in the bible, especially the angels
