I was so down bad for him while playing Crisis Core and now that I’ve seen him again, I still am. He’s just so pretty in his scenes. We love a poetic KING 👑 💕
Genesis is awful unsympathetic character. You would expect, that he would make at least good final boss, but he is so awful that he instead join you at the end.

Mere fact that he managed to survive CC where Angeal, Sephiroth and Zack all died is astonishing and in fact he had worse starting position than the others. He used strange method to achieve his goal but it worked to large extent and even goddess herself cured him, so he really made some right decisions. He is really great and effective character. And that he is not too lovable? He is antagonist in game so it is quite normal and desirable actually. Your video is very good and I really like it. Genesis is underappriciated and I would gladly learn more nuances of his character and his motivations. I thought that my comment described him quite well, He is not too lovable and real drama queen but when it is needed, he manages to do right things. This is your video and I respect it. Probably the most underrated character in the entirety of the FF7 timeline. This dude took an incomplete poem, saw through the bullshit, realised it was actual supernatural stuff, decided to use it to heal himself and his honour, and *fucking pulled it off.* He's a drama queen as much as you like, but you can't deny he was the only one in Crisis Core who knew what the hell he was doing XD.
