Sorry, sounds like it had a bad ending? Sucks you had it only two weeks. Wow. I hope you were not hurt. Im hoping to buy an 81 750 F next month. Its dangerous out there but as someone once told me 'you have to live' and we cant be ruled by our fear. But sometimes even death or serious injury takes care of that. It will take me a long time to fix it up so we wont be out there any time soon and maybe by then I'll just sell it and save the hazards.
@@pipersall6761 I broke my foot in the middle of summer, cast for weeks. Fine now. Oh, this was '84ish. It was totally my fault. I gave up bikes after that. Good luck with yours, whatever you do.
@@jakerazmataz852 Thank you. Im still mulling it over whether or not to do it. Im not young anymore but I think I still have the skill, but thats what they all say, huh? Anyway, glad you recovered and lived to tell the tale. One thing I really enjoy are these videos where guys and gals take you along for the ride using a GoPro or something similar. Recreates a few of the feelings with none of the expense or the danger. Take care and thanks again.
You made a couple of small mistakes that I'm going to throw out real fast. You were talking about the gas mileage. 35 miles to the gallon and by accident you said 35 mph. anybody with a brain would understand that it's a simple mistake and you didn't mean anything by it. the second mistake you made was you actually said that you're enjoying the sound of the typical Honda four-cylinder engine single overhead cam. whereas in the beginning when you were going over the engine you stated that it's a double overhead cam engine. is it a double overhead cam or a single overhead cam? your contradicting yourself for people that are trying to learn. I know exactly what it has as I was living and driving bikes brand new during the 1970s
This was my 1st street bike I bought from my neighbor in 1986 for only $750 dollars I have so many fond memories of this bike it was great but too much for me at age 16 being a 130 pounds.and not a care in the world..
I had a new one in 1984 it was double overhead cam and my speedometer thank God did not have that restriction of 85 mph however one of my new cars had that on it I will never forget it was a Pontiac.

Call me crazy but if I was the instructor I wouldn’t have allowed any cameras or anything that could be a distraction on the initial flight lesson or any other lesson - but then again my focus is on overall safety.
I love my 2020 Camry AWD. Same engine in the awd Avalon and I believe the Lexus is250. But I mainly bought it because it has an actual 8 speed and direct and port injection. So they still build them for longevity.
my old camry 320k orig front end trans fluid starter alternator shocks struts just did oil brakes tires radiator and the thermestat my new camry 19 idk if i'm a fan i mean its sporty and faster sits low too low heat sucks takes 4 ever to defrost and ac is not as good it drives rougher over bumps and got a lot flimsy plastic even the way the carpet sits and the seat is atttached.. I hope it lasts me as long even the road noise is worse then my old camry with 320k i'm little disapointed but time should telll Whats the highest miles anyone go with orig transmission me and my buddy got toyota lexus ford and subaru all over 300k orig whats your guys take?
My buddy Eddie had the black 82 750f super sport that had original breather box and exhaust. At a roll you could clutch it and open it up, it would raise the front tire an inch or so and start smoking the back tire then you'd need a good 10 minutes to calm your nerves and get your hands from shaking. That bike would srceam. Idk if it was bone stock or slightly jetted with a small cam but looked absolutely stock. This was in tn back around 86/88. You have a gorgeous bike. Ebay sales oem decal kits. They'll only go up in value especially in stock condition. Should have it repainted original color with decals but that blue sure looks sweet
This seems to be a charming city, I hope I can visit in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much!
This bike holds one of the worst memories for me. At 17, I watched a Good Friend get killed on his. Was a bad night. One that I've lived far to many times!! Riders For Ever!!! Right!! Still got my 75 F!! We've done/did a lot for miles together before and after. Always in my thoughts, Brother!! RIP Eric, I still owe you a big one. Say Hi to Tracy for me, Please!!
Sorry to hear that however everybody I know that rides a motorcycle I believe knows one person that either got killed or got injured very badly comes with the territory when driving a two-wheel vehicle especially when there is no room for error and then you mix in cars trucks so on I was actually hit by a car on the way to work with my Honda 750 it's now many years later and I'm still suffering from back pain
I had a new Honda 750 in 1984. My speedometer did not stop at 85 although one of my new cars did have that feature that I hated. I wasn't the original owner of the car I actually picked up the payments from my father-in-law that's how I ended up with that car the motorcycle I bought brand new on my own
Got my 75 F in 79 with a kill under her belt and a crunched front end. 8 rebuilds and 300k++ miles she now sits with a 912cc big bore kit and $8600 in new parts. I love that girl!!
I have 1 brand new looks drives like first day my 2nd same machine since early 80s till now I got create survivor look beautiful all OG super Nice with kerk pipes like new gorgeous show Bike first place winner 🏆
This was my first bike as a Bōsōzoku girl back in Japan. It had custom fairings with a Mitsubushi Zero paint job. Loved it so many memories of running wild thru Tokyo on it. Wish I had one over here in Scotland. Currently on a personally customised 96ci Harley FXDB Street Bob but changing soon to a Yamaha XV1900 - cant wait!
@@OverrideTV As far as Japanese Motorcycle's I owned only 3. My first was a brand new Yamaha 80 then I moved up to a Honda 400 Hawk that was used in excellent condition two cylinders two carburetors to exhaust pipes I paid $500 for it was a great bike after that was a brand new Honda 750 4 cylinders four carburetors for exhaust pipes great motorcycle never had any problems with any of them
Thanks! The lsd might be standard now, but for the 2016 model year (like the car in this video) you had to get the Performance Package to get it [see assets.motorwebs.com/vw/pdf/gti.pdf ]
Really good review, really liked it!! Yeah the transmission of the 2018 is not smooth at all. Especially from 1-4 and 4-1 I can’t find a solution and why theres a difference from the 2019-2020 as they have the same exact components. The 2019 they have buttery smooth transmission, it’s perfect- quick, no rough shifts or lurching forward from a rolling stop. This is the biggest disappointment with mine. The noise in higher speeds can be fixed with some dynamat in the doors and the trunk, also mine has rattle from the back side, above the rear seats when the bass hits from the jbl. I am still trying to find a solution. Yeah the honda front end looks better, but the camry looks better overall, the honda is quicker, but not faster. And Ill take the smooth v6 and the sound then any 4 cyl turbocharged engine anyday! I have the 4cyl and on the highway I average 45+ which is crazy. I don’t understand why would you like the mazda more than the camry. Yours really deserves only a nice tuned exhaust system, the trd exhaust sounds really good. Check your seatbelt adjusters thats where the rattle comes from. The trans is the biggest let down which makes me go and trade it for the Honda honestly! And btw adjust your tire pressure 🤭 peace ✌️
Thank you Svetlozar, I'm glad you liked the video! You bring up many good points. I didn't know that they improved the transmission in the 2019/2020 models! Makes we want to test one out to see what mine should have been like. The transmission really is the one major complaint I have with this car. Also, thanks for your suggestions for reducing the cabin noise and for improving the exhaust note, I'll look into those options. I noticed my tire pressure was low while filming and I did put more air in right after.. I was hoping nobody would notice ahah
I currently have a 2019 SE 2.5 with 11,000 miles and believe me, the trans is exactly how you explained it, horrible!!!. I've got a case through Toyota and been to the dealer multiple times for it. They tell me everythings working as it should and it's just the characteristics of the car. Strongly considering taking the hit and trading it in on something else!
@@KevinShroff yes, the tsb? It was done and did change much at all, actually made the 2nd to 1st when coming to a stop worse. If you do a rolling stop it syarys in 2nd unless you come to a complete stop. Very sluggish and annoying. I finally had enough of the crappy trans and traded it in on a 2020 fusion 2.0 awd, waaaayyy better and way more power
