Phwoar that kart you had looks like it had awful acceleration out of each corner. The karts in front, even when they were wheel to wheel, looked like they’d pull many lengths out in front after you exit a corner. That must’ve been frustrating, a great showing nonetheless! [Made these comments before I saw the ending! So unfortunate :( ]
@@richtearacing544 thank you for that. Iv 9noy been there a couple times and both times it was wet and spitting rain. So with that being a limit could I join at 100kg?
Your line going into what I believe is the 4th corner (the double left after the hairpin) is to narrow, everyone is pulling away from you and the kart is bogging down as you are having to put alot more left hand lock on the wheel. Rotax also don't have great torque compared to an X30 so they already struggle out of the corners. If you just open it up abit and have a slightly wider apex on the first half of that corner you will have a much straighter line on exit.
Best of luck for tomorrow man! Can’t wait to see you with elbows out wherever possible from tomorrow onwards :) Hopefully some more Wham, Bam, thank you M’aams to report back!
It was great racing you at buckmore and it’ll be fun to race with you in C2 next season! You’ve got a real shot at winning it, you were absolutely on fire at buckmore!
Man, could have watched this video to help with the BUKC test Friday. Same conditions, slick in some corners dry in others. Didn't get in the 110% because I struggled to get a proper lap in with all the yellows.
Through corners like Christmas I always try to keep the braking and throttle separate, get yourself sorted in the braking and then on the throttle, maybe a tiny lift in between just to help balance the kart. I think this lap is so good though because there is no tiny gap, its just brake and accelerate all round
Hi mate great videos, I've just started this series with my cousin and brother. I used to race in the British karting championship so this is all a bit different to what I'm used to, what intercom is this please or is there any that you reccomend?
Helllo mate, thank you very much! The ones we use are the EJEAS V6 Vnetphone, easily findable on amazon and so far collectively agreed as the best throughout the paddock, they are also very good value for money too!
Not my best track by any stretch of the imagination, but best tip is brake a little earlier for the hairpin that has the big bulge on it, brake too late and it really unsettles the kart
Some superb racing action with some fantastic overtakes. You really do get a good sense of the speed with the nose cam. Really entertaining commentary too. Congratulations on your race win 👏
Overrated and hyped. Before his dominance at Merc, his track record wasn't exactly bright: choked in 2007, barely beat Massa in 2008, choked in 2010, beaten by Button in 2011. Matched by Rosberg in 2013. He was good in 2012, had a good rookie year, and that's it. Never dominated a teammate apart from Kovalainen. Button and Rosberg all were close to him, and Bottas was close to him until he got relegated to number 1. His overtaking skills are drastically overrated - he would always complain that he can't get past someone - Verstappen at Australia, a Renault and Sauber (!) at Mexico, Raikkonen, Ricciardo at Austria, Vettel at Baku, Kimi at Brazil. There are more occasions of this in previous years. Fans usually wave at you with his his titles, but his skills aren't goat material. Max has the most karting titles with less years on the entire grid. He is good driver in general but very very very overrated and got some good luck with Mclaren en Mercedes. Hamilton lost a title to Nico Rosberg in 2016 in the same car. This is something that also happened to Senna when he lost the title to his teammate in 1989. This puts them in that weird position where other champions have not lost the title in the same car such as Schumacher, Alonso and Vettel. How about Nico’s car failure in 2014 in the last race where there were Double Points for grasp. No one says that Nico lost due to mechanical failure. No one comes to defend him. I will point again to 2014 season, where the Pole Trophy was introduced and guess who won it? Yes, it was not Hamilton but his teammate Rosberg who outqualified him in the season 11-6 (if I remember correctly). Again, this shows that in the same machinery, it is quite possible to outqualify Hamilton. In this Hamilton-Mercedes era, the titles are way out of reach of any other team. The constructors is decided almost halfway thru the season and only thanks to Rosberg, and now Verstappen, Hamilton was exposed a number of times. Its not simply a matter of Lewis being dominant its the Mercedes Team that is dominant. The legendary Juan Manuel Fangio who won 5 titles with 4 different teams in an era where drivers would die left, right and center. Imagine, in that era, he won a drivers championship at the age of 46 years. If he would have been a British or German driver, you would hear his name at every GP and in every program but unfortunately he belongs to a country that no longer has a representation in F1 and thus no one mentions him. F the British bias media, it just indoctrinates the Britsh with Lewis being goat or legend. He cleary is not.
Anyone else had that problem where there were multiple different types karts on track at one time and the kart you were in had a dodgey engine so that like clock work on a small black line on the straight the engine would make a weird noise and slow down a lot
Thank you for showing and explaining the track I’m having a test session in September and I needed to know whilton mill and you helped thank you so much😁
I had my first few races in C100 this year in the novice championship, but decided to walk away when it was apparent that more than 1/2 of the field were anything but novices.. The series is well run, very slick, just a shame that the new entrants are not vetted properly... or at all..
I did sp60 and sprint got +4 position penalty for minor contact when overtaking taking someone in sp60 as someone else followed me through and also warning when I was on my own but didn’t go out of track limits or hit cone and sprint got +4 because someone span out in front of me. Unfortunately I just think clay marshalling wasn’t that great sp60 penalty I understand slightly but sprint I guess they thought they saw contact
