I dont have a clue what the hell this guy did but has he ever heard of regulations/ procedures/ rules? Whatever the school system "did" to him, Im sure they did to everyone (I doubt he was singled out and was truly "needled" by the school system.) Even if he didnt agree with what they are teaching or their policies, he doesn't get to act out against them in whatever way he wants to. How about homeschool your kids? Send them to private school? Very cool. My great-great grandfather was Assistant Chief of Brattleboro FD a very long time ago. I think it's really cool to see things on the departments where my ancestors have served. I myself serve on a department in Franklin County as a 5th generation firefighter.
