Thank you for this video! Just to check: I created a flow on Microsoft 365 and I have a desktop Power Automate on the same account. Right now, when I open my Desktop Power Automate, it doesn't show my Microsoft 365 flows as Cloud Flows. If I understand correctly, I need to have a Premium account to connect my 365 flows to the Desktop app; is that correct or am I missing something?
I'm trying to do something similar, except grab the File ID when it is saved to the SharePoint list. So far, I've not found a way to do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
@azurezenlearning i have checked the checkbox beside condition and saved the flow ,when I reopen the flow that check mark is not visible in checkbox..can u pls help
it should be working. A standard behavior is described here : learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-automate/use-expressions-in-conditions?tabs=classic-designer . My suggestion would be to open a support ticket from your M365 Admin center with Microsoft, they should be able to figure out if it's a bug or if something is missed.
that means I have to buy both attended and unattended like to run the flow in unattended flow? or I will buy per user plan + unattended addon? and with this unattended addon I can run multiple flows parallel on their individual machines? for example I have 4 machines in the rpa-group and I can run these different four flow on these individual machines in parallel? I would really appreciate if you love this mystery. I am searching so wild but not getting proper answer.
Yes, you should be able to do that. Check out this link : powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Power-Automate-Desktop/Question-How-to-run-unattended-desktop-flows-in-multiple-virtual/td-p/792853
it might be possible, but I haven't tested. MS has some documentation about Postgre connectors here : learn.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/postgresql/ You can check the possible actions
well, it depens on your license, but yes it could cause some throttling issues if you hit the limists. They are described here: learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/api-request-limits-allocations
Could you kindly generate a fictional Dumay dataset and demonstrate its integration with process mining, elucidating the data structure and how it aligns with the process mining workflow?
If I get a chance, I will do it Atul. I would also mention that you could have a look at Process Mining with Copilot. It's still in preview, but you could check it out powerautomate.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/microsoft-announces-preview-of-new-copilot-capabilities-in-power-automate-process-mining/
Nice Video but you have not showed how to resolve the issues with the connections to sharepoint, i would imagine most people who watch the video are here for a resolve to those issues.
Thank you, this is what I was looking for. I am new in sharepoint and I need to create LMS for our company for our employees. Is it possible to somehow create groups, where I can put different people and they see different documents(specific documents for their work)? And also in PowerAutomate set the reminding of expiration of the training? Thank you!
Hi, thank you. Yes you can either use sharepoint audience or just custom groups with different permissions to specific pages or document libraries. Also you can use power automate to do any kind of reminders based on specific expiration dates that you can store in a sharepoint list of something like that. If you budget allows, you can also consider using ready made solutions like sharepoint lms - www.sharepointlms.com/
there is no easy way of doing it. Technically, you could use approval action for input, but it will be limited to 2 options only. Alternatively you could an action that will trigger a new subflow and the subflow should have input at the beginning. The following input types can be used : learn.microsoft.com/en-us/training/modules/button-user-input/1-user-inputs
You can either try to use 2 seperate condition actions within flow or a single condition with multiple nested subconditions. It also possible to use branching, but if your function is really complex, the best would be to break it down in simple ones.
I am trying to use get rows using the ID column. Next i am creating a HTML table to but t I dont see the a dynamic content of rows/ values for the ' from' property' of ' Create HTML Table'. any idea how to get that ? TIA!
Hi M365 Training appreciate your work make a video on Power automate on this topics if possible. 1.how to use Power automate overview. 2.how to use connectors in power automate is it free or paid. 3.how to use basic Power automate actions loops conditions or etc. 4.make a scenario videos on Sharepoint and one drive or etc.
Hi Suraj, thank you for the feedback, I will record some additional videos in the future. You can also check some of my previous videos in this channel, they cover most of the points you asked.
You could use a scheduled flow that checks for a specific date before the due date (use a formula to subtract specific number of days from the current date/utcnow).
well, one option is to do it gradually with wait action or multiple flows that run in parallel. Also, maybe if you get per flow license, this limit would be lifted, but it needs to be clarified with MS support
Hi, really useful vid thanks, I set this up using Service Principal authentication but it still prompts each user to add key vault connection details. Looking at MS documentation it appears as if the connection is not shareable. How do we share flows if we can’t share the key vault call?
@@azurezenlearning that'd be great, I'm also interested in seeing how we can send texts/push notifications or alerts to smart phones but using Power Automate Desktop. And triggering actions/flows at specific times :)
EDIT: Getting there, my issue was with the file path. May not include "Shared documents". Calling by the localised version of "Documents" (was surprisingly "Files" in Finnish, not documents like in "shared documents"!). OLD: I just can't get this working. I found out the localisation for the List name, I can return a list of all the files and folders, but when I try to get a file, it only works by the file ID. I tried copying the filename from the XML results (pasted the "https...site/_api.../Files" on web browser first), but didn't work with correct filename, didn't work with path and filename. The error always is "System.IO.FileNotFoundException" "File not found"
Thanks for your video, I am facing a issue where Flows are Turning Off after they are deployed/imported into the Target environment, it is becoming very tough to check every time and every flow which are disabled/deactivated after the solution import. Any suggestions on this please
I haven't see that issue before, but it seems like its'd a default behavior. In terms of automation, have you maybe you could run a timed flow which checks other flows state and creates a report or enables those, if possible. I don't know if it exists, but it might be worth checking.
you should be able to use the same logic, when response is submitted and if you have a separate field on this form with sender's e-mail address, you can take it as a dynamic input and place it in a to field in your e-mail action within a flow
Thank you. Very much a true beginner here. Do you mean to pick a different connector (I picked the email V2 thing) because one of them contains a from field?
@@tsunimee what do you mean e-mail for a sender? Is it a field in your ms form, that is later added as from field in Outlook connector? If that's the case it would be a bit more challenging, since additional exchange online configuration would be required. Your power automate user should have permissions to be send as that user.
you could try using graph api to write info to excel, but it's not a simple process : docs.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/api/resources/excel?view=graph-rest-1.0
