Term limits for Congress is a great idea.... However, it will never happen because Congress is the one that introduces the legislation. If Congress created and passed that bill and made the TERM LIMITS into law, they'd be voting against their best interests.....basically firing themselves after 2 terms.. Had this been addressed after FDR had passed while in office during his 3rd term, we wouldn't be in this predicament.
What struck me from that book is the line when he talks about being a great debater and destroying his opposition's arguments, but that later he realized that he was actually always losing, because by trying to win a debate you are losing the other side. But if you focus on connecting with them you can achieve a mutual win.
I saw Mr. Palmenteri performing his one-man show of "A Bronx Tale" in the Westwood Theatre on the Brentwood section of Los Angeles, and he was fantastic. Growing up in the Morris Park section of the Bronx, his performance brought back a lot of memories of the Arthur Avenue/Fordham Road section of the Bronx!
CHAZZ, YOU ARE SPOT ON , ......THEY DO WANT SOMETHING TO HAPPEN.... ITS SO OBVIOUS. NEXT HE WILL PROBABLY DECLARE A PUBLIC EMERGENCY SO HE CAN ABUSE AMERICANS EVEN MORE. HE H A T E S the people who voted trump in , in2016.. and pretty much everyone else he is the most depraved deeply dishonest potus, we have ever had to endure. as always a great show.
Interesting conversation, but I have a big question, why is it whenever you talk about politicians who lie you never mention Trump who is documented as the biggest liar of any politician?!! It makes your talk a little disingenuous - you may want to think about this and correct it. I think you’ll reach more people that way.
God loves us, and he never forsakes us. At 23 years old I found Christ by hiding behind a church, while avoiding a speeding ticket. Ten years later, I had an overwhelming desire to go to a service there. I accepted Christ as my savior. Three years later, God gave me my wife, and the rest is history. I like telling this story at church. It always makes people laugh. I obey the speed limit now. I love hearing you speak about stuff. God has been a father to me. I consider myself the prodigal son. 👍
A serious academic endeavor is comparing and contrasting Machiavelli's "The Prince" with Castigliano's "The Courtier" -- two diametrically opposed handbooks for princes. Machiavelli recommends maintaining a low profile, yet getting he high priority items done, whereas Castiglione recommends "sprezzatura" (little flame): being a shining example to the prince, focusing on getting the more spectacular and therefore more persuasive items done.
"Hey Chaz'! My big brother Trippy always used to like the "There's alot of good arss grabbing going on over there'! 😃 Thank you so much for your authenticity, great memories. Truly a legend 😎❤🤟
The Mob considered prison as the cost of doing business. When the cost of business becomes too high then companies either relocate, terminate operations or go bankrupt. Gotti went bankrupt
I see that democrats are for the rich. The migrants are being put with the poor, the nonsense taught in schools doesn't affect the wealthy. Their children can go to private schools and the bail reform affects mostly the poor who often don't have security systems and most crime occurs in less affluent neighborhoods
I just love this show. And I love these two men! For amazing insight into the afterlife, there is no greater source of detailed information than the writings of Emmanuel Swedenborg. It is also interesting to listen to near death experiences although with much discernment because a lot of people's NDEs are tailored more for the lessons they need to learn so it's wise not to get caught up in them.
