Magnifique! Liked - Subscribed Say, I would like to re-create this ashtray - a swimming pool shaped, 1960s Anthony Pools Ashtray from my childhood... (Easily seen in online search if convenient for you?) Anyway... It is about 9.5 in. x 7.5 in. x 2 in... is made of white-ish material and is brown and turquoise color around and in the "pool." I know I can sculpt it, but... What would you say is the best material and coloration available to a home made, but resourceful craftsman? What type clay or material? How to color so that it can be used as an ashtray? Thanks so much!~ Wonderfully pleasant video!
Once you try and get the measurements right 1. 618 , that is the height is half the width of the pot with out the handles the handles are half the width, then you have to marry the foot to the base then the handles. Then you have to take the kiln firing in to consideration . i lost every 6th pot. until i woke up the carbon reduction cycle suggested by goodly scholars is not quiet right, less reduction at lower temperatures, my comment comes through Oxfords science lab 2003 mike tite,

This was great! I'm a beginner and enjoyed this video. Do you let this air dry or did you use a kiln? Also, can you still pour water inside without it damaging the clay?
