Ek was nog n jong seun en luister vandag weer na jare na die boeremusiek kompitiesie en verlang so baie na my oorlede Pa. Boeremusiek was sy passie en lewe. Dankie bring goeie herrinerringe terug.
I had the first contact with Boeremusiek back in the 80ies on the German language Radio RSA short wave service. (die Stem van Suid Afrika) When you see these chaps with the audio muted you'd never expect them to play music that lively an dynamic. :-) Great video - thank you.
Hierdie kompetisies op die TV was ook destyds my aansporing tot my musiek loopbaan waar ek vandag is...en dis al 40 jaar....baie dankie vir die deel van hierdie video's....
Hi. Thank you for sharing your drives. Please can I get some advice on the roads in Tembe Elephant park. Can you compare the elephant park roads to the Kosi bay roads please. I’ve driven the above kosi roads and the coastal forest route (the one that requires the permit) in my Subaru XV (tyres deflated) but worried about tembe elephant park tracks. As someone who has driven both, would you say they are the same, better or worse than Kosi Bay roads please?
Thembe Elephant Park is a nice easy drive. Subaru XV will handle it with ease. There is one section that they warn you about, advanced 4x4, i avoided that section as i was low on fuel. Also, if you love your paintwork, avoid the park completely. Some of the narrow paths has thick branches on both sides that you cant avoid.I left the park with deep scratches on the sides. You also have an option of using a game drive vehicle as there is specific viewpoint spots at bomas where you get out and view the wildlife. The viewpoints are nice.
@@AKOM-TV-allkindsofmedia Thank you so much for this. It helps a great deal. Don’t mind the scratches- Bush rash from the Kosi trip already. Experiencing these beautiful places more than makes up for it. Will definitely look into the game drives. Once again thank you and looking forward to more of your content. “Mooi Loop”.
@@AKOM-TV-allkindsofmedia Will a 2007 Nissan X-trail 2.5 l automatic with 3 options of 4x2/auto/4x4 ( where all 4 wheels are engaged) make this trip to the Kosi Mouth. This vehicle is not a true 4x4 , but from what I've seen on youtube of its capabilities and the road I see on this video , I feel it can be done. Anyone's thoughts, please.
@@yunusvahed4102 The Nissan X-Trail should be fine for that trip, just keep momentum going and don't do steep turns on soft sand. Lowering tyre pressure is important on soft sand, i ran my Discovery on 16psi. Enjoy
