Dubois spent more than 5 years in Africa. Making him ignorant toward the African condition is totally wrong. Dubois blackness should never be questioned. He not only studied the African American experience he was on the front line. From Boston to Georgia. Dubois knew Africa had resoures. It was his blackness that wouldn't allow him not to understand Africa's condition . Dubois lived in Africa over 20 years and he wasn't ignorant regarding life in Africa.
