Hello sir i am facing an issue, I uploaded the list of channels and it played, but some channels stopped working so i changed their links to another and then it doesnt show up in the main player. What should i do?

Hi, After i paste the link of my m3u playlist and clicking launch the media station open and i can see my channels , when i try to play one of them i get the following error: Source not supported: media element error: format error If i try with shorten link , every time i click confirm the following error is showed: Server respondet with status :0 I got the m3u from my provider.

Otherwise, I cannot help with steaming issues because each platform supports different codecs/formats. To register the link with a URL shortener service, please make sure to register the complete URL (as shown in the video).

Thank you for your question. You probably mean a feature that allows you to select a channel from your list that should be automatically tuned on startup. If so, this feature is not yet available, but I can add it to the list of possible extensions.
Yes exactly. One more thing, im not able to change layout under settings. It is 720p by default even in 4k TV. Finally when new update is coming waiting eagerly (vidaa OS) hopefully it will bring more features and customisations.
Please note that for TV devices the layout is detected automatically and should not be changed. It is only used for the user interface and has no influences on the video quality. For example, it is possible to play 4k videos while the layout resolution is set to 720p.

Hi Ben. New to your app. I have Dropbox synced to media station on TV. Basically I have list of m3u8 live stream url I just want to play inside media station. What's easiest way for me to save the links on Dropbox and have them show up in Dropbox so can play stream? Do I need convert or what file extension. Thanks

Currently, this is only possible using the following trick: Open the RU-vid app within the Bigscreen app -> Search for „Media Station X“ or „benzac-de“ to get to my RU-vid channel -> Open the „msx.benzac.de/info“ link (listed on my channel page) -> Navigate to the „Platform Support“ tab -> Scroll to the bottom right corner that contains the AR/VR headsets link and open it -> Now you should see the Media Station X welcome pages.

This issue can have many causes and usually cannot be fixed on app side. I recommend that you test the playlist with different devices and apps to check if this issue can be reproduced.
It's not working. The following error appears in the online version and in vision smart Tv: "Start parameter error: 500 Internal Server Error: Bitly data could not be loaded."
Please also check the correct characters because some could look very similar, for example: I (uppercase I) and l (lowercase l) or O (uppercase O) and 0 (zero).

For example, if you have an existing personal movie library, you could use the TMDb API to fetch metadata for each movie and cache it on your server. However, you need some experienced programming skills to implement it properly.
I have a webos based tv and I am not so tech clever but from watching your videos, i think maybe this could be possible so here's my question: is it possible to set my old android phone as a server and access it from meda station x on my smart tv in order to run some apps? How to change resolution to 4k on settings for Samsung TV? It's only locked to 1080p. I use msx as web app launcher so people can launch web app without installing app using tizen studio.
Thank you for your comment. The layout resolution (Settings -> Layout) is set by Samsung and cannot be changed. This is 1080p for all current TV devices. Please note that the layout resolution is independent of the video resolution. It is possible to watch 4k/8k content while the layout resolution is set to 1080p.
@benzac-de thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, the app limitations make the Web app only can stream up to 1080p. I have to create my app using Tizen Studio to get access to 4K resolution. I want to share it so they can use it but some of them don't know how to install it. Currently, I asked them to use your app to launch my Web app.
@@arsyad1105 Okay, now I understand your problem. The problem is that 4k/8k content cannot be played on Samsung TVs with an HTML5 player. For these formats, the Tizen player must be used. However, the Tizen player is only available in the local context (i.e. within the app package). So you have to create your own Tizen app (like you already do) or you have to use the MSX Tizen player (msx.benzac.de/wiki/index.php?title=Tizen_Player) by creating an MSX JSON portal.
