ZY, if your opponent return the ball with a strong backspin to your LEFT at the end portion of the table, how do you chop the ball to get it just over the net? I find it difficult to return backspin with backspin using Long Pimples. Most of the time I experienced the ball failed to go over the net. Can share your technique?
@@putiputain1230 Thanks ZY. I am aware that one can push/swipe using LP to return a back-spin ball over to the other side. But is it possible to return a back-spin ball with some degree of back-spin back to your opponent using LP? If technically possible how do you do that?
Hello ! I am also a chopper and i love your playstyle ! I have some questions : 1) what is your equipment in this vidéo ? 2) what is your strategy when you serve ? Always backhand serve ? Why ? Thanks !
Hi ZY, topspin ball that landed at the right side of your table, sometimes you did a forehand chop (away from the table) and at other times you did a forehand attack. What were your deciding factors whether to forehand chop or to forehand attack? Can share a little more?
Zhao Yun, I notice you position yourself well before the ball reach your side of the table. How do you know earlier where the ball placement is going to be even before the ball reach your side of the table? what do you observe?
@@TRYTT Great! hopefully your future videos inspire more players become choppers, thus preserving choppers from extinction. Choppers are endangered species. Hard to find coaches who are choppers nowadays☺
Chanced upon your vid while waiting for the current wtt cq matches to start. You play very well. A chopper yet fast and furious attacks at right moments. Hope to see you in the senior wtt games soon. Now I know of a TZY in Singapore.
@@TRYTT appreciated. Watching and learning from your video past few days. Suited my play style with LP ox at back,. Just need to improved my foot step, it not easy at 42years old, especially cutting away from table. 😅
You defend and attack beautifully. Zhaoyun, had you ever used "Straight" handle for your paddle? If you had, as a chopper, any different compare to using "Flared" handle?
@@alexfun1400 Feint Long 3 is softer, grippier and you can control over the spin. But it is less reversal and less "pips effect." I didn’t try it on cybershape wood before
Greetings from Greece. I am fan of Gionis and now fan of you! Awesome technique! Can you share with us the Blade and rubber & pips you use? You make it seem "so easy" to chop! Congrats!!!
