If you enjoy the overall concept enough, you will find that it doesn’t affect the enjoyment. I have over 1000 hours on this game over the years, the janky-ness adds a feeling of vulnerable realism. You’re not an action hero sliding around doing jump shots, you’re just human and one mistake from perma death at all times. You also don’t notice the jankyness after a while, it’s more like a game mechanic because it’s *mostly* logical and consistent. For example the character movement physics and camera can feel odd to people at first, but it’s more of realistic inertia, like in real life you can’t just do instant movements and change of directions. When you get used to it, it adds to the realism.
