Why worry on overtorquing the bolts to the water pump plastic body, yeah, just full tight them with the electric wrench lol. By the way, no need to pay attention on the torque sequence of these bolts, just doit as you want, man...omg
WOW TELL ME HOW DOES A HEAD GASKET BLOW IN A CAR THAT'S NOT EVEN 1 YEAR OLD. THESE CAR COMPANIES ARE GETTING RIDICULOUS WITH ALL THESE CHEAP PARTS. THANK GOD I STILL DRIVE A 2008 VW PASSAT 2.0T WITH 410 000 KMS NO NEW VW WILL EVER GET THAT CLOSE. NEW CARS ARE TOTAL GARBAGE. ONLY DOWNFALL WITH OLD CARS ARE THINGS CAN BE VERY DIFFICULT TO REMOVE AND REPLACE
Seperate question. Do you know why the voltage yellow fuse in the fuae box at the front keep blowing everytime you try to crank the hybrid? I have 2016 Jetta Hybrid starts then stalls out. Any insight would be great
Thanks for posting this. I'm prepping to do this now on my '13 CC Sport+, and using this as my guide. I noticed that you didn't change the the inner or oil pump chains & guides. Do they not fail like the primary (cam) chain/tensioner/guide, or was that part just not filmed? Thanks!
Great video. Knowledgeable technician. The cons, this tech would break additional connections and/or fitings because of the rough handling. Anyone having service by this location, should be weiry of additional billed items added to the final bill. This video was pretty scary. Especially if this if the norm for someone working on a VW/Audi today.
No sigle one time use subframe and trans mount (strech bolts)wasn’t replaced I hope customer didn’t was charged for that yeah you need speed but you need to replace that bolts it’s safety issues no body wants to drop’s subframe on highway 70mph
clicking on right and left lock sound like rack or could the subframe be misaligned after clutch was done a year or so ago? usual suspect been taken care of, like strut mounts and bearings, track rod ends, drop links. lower arms look good.
Poor lighting and which doesn’t allow viewer to see what’s being performed, VW tech has no safety glasses while working under the vehicle. Narrative by technician would of been better, instead of listening to camera guy keep asking that size every tool used.
Im doing this currently at work and I told him I dont work on these or audis or mercedes. He said I have faith in you . ok buddy. If it comes back dont blame me. Never give a tech a job he doesnt want to do or above his skill level.
