So our van the meter is all the way to the H. it is smoking a little. I turn the van on and it automatically shuts off. Could the thermostat cause this problem? One mechanic said we need a new motor.
Hello and thank you for watching. Yes bad faulty thermostat can make your van to run hot. But the fact that your van is smoking is concerning. Is it smoking from the engine bay or out the exhaust pipe on back? Either way that can be that you ran the engine too hot and you blew a engine gasket.
@@RonDIYMods It was smoking from the front. It has been ticking but I heard that was from the lifters. The van still drove fine. The van did keep loosing coolant.
@@michelledunn987ok the smoking might just be the coolant. Do you have any check engine. Check where your coolant is leaking from. Check your coolant levels. It could be your water pump, thermostat, coolant fan, or your just loosing coolant from radiator or a ripped hose.
@@RonDIYMods It’s been saying catalytic converter but the exhaust place said it wasn’t that. It is saying temperature sensor, and I think the coolant sensor. I read where a guy replaced everything and 2 thermostat and finally he bought the OEM thermostat and that was the problem all along. I was just trying to get another opinion before I spent money on getting the thermostat fixed.
I’m confused.. Do you need the sgw bypass module to even use multiecuscan on the 2018+ models? You can’t just plug a laptop with the software on it into the stock OBD port and run diagnostics? You have to use the bypass module plug with the laptop to use diagnostics? Help?

Thank you for subscribing I really appreciate it. No I don’t have a rear dash camera but it shouldn’t be hard to do. You can buy a camera that has both front and rear. They connect to one single power source but if you’re already have one connected to the Front, you could add a second one just hooking it up to the original power source and a ground like that you front and rear dash cams.
In my van, I do not have rearview monitors, but I have heard from other people that with the correct wire adapter, you can make the stereo function with the rearview monitor system by accessing the menu and activating the AV option mirror screen your stereo.
@@RonDIYMods the carbon fiber door handles did you use any glue? Or just the 3m tape it comes with? How is it holding up? People on the Amazon reviews saying it didn’t last long or fell off. Any tips?
@@mr_digdeeperI just used the 3M tape. No problem so far still holding good. Honestly they still look new. I do use wax in them every time I was the car to protect the finish.
What about the basic, integral part of the car, which is communication with the hands-free module? Does the phone automatically switch to speakerphone if it is in the car?
Yes, it works the same. The radio has Bluetooth so once you get in the car, it starts playing your music and you can answer your phone calls via the car speaker.

No, my van did not come with the multimedia center, but apparently you can make an aftermarket radio work with another harness that you have to buy separately and apparently with this harness you’re able to control the DVD and the back screens. Also, this harness allows you to keep your OEM rearview camera. links to this harness are in the description of the video.
The same to me. The same error code, sw updated, same error and have to change the valve. They change the internal code of the part… it seems the former one had an issue. Giulia 2.0 petrol 2017 june

I write from Italy. It would be great if you made a video where you disassemble the broken valve to see if it can be repaired. Perhaps it is just a sludge problem in the coolant as happens on some Vag group pumps. I had the same error, but the next day it disappeared, I wouldn't want to change such an expensive valve only to then realize that mine wasn't faulty.
My question is really does the harness have a separate brake wire from the radio to ground out the radio when it’s in park or does it retain the factory park brake wire with the factory harness..in other words can I by pass the park brake so my wife can watch movies while we ride trip with out sitting in the back

@@user-vv6jm9sh5t honesty i like the TEYES unit better. I haven't had any issues with it and performance is better than the first one I installed. yes, the sim card is a big plus when running apps like google maps and RU-vid.
Yes it did solve the issue. You will lose some coolant but not all. You’ll lose coolant from the rear passenger side coolant tank. As you can see in the video all I did is top of the coolant tank turn on the vehicle and top off as needed

I’m pretty sure this way too hardwire the stock mic to an aftermarket radio Me personally have not found out how to do it. That’s why I’m running a aftermarket, Mic.
